Doctor examined it with a Dermascope and suggested a biopsy, which was done in 30 minutes. Luckily , the biopsy report was not very serious, Dysplastic Mole, and completely removed. On 10 Th November 2024 I have visited for my wife for warts (HPV) in scalp and dorsal of hand. Patient was itching too much.
I have found this Physician from Google reviews. After reaching suddenly he started inject in hand and scalp local anaesthetic without any medicine or lotion and charged ₹3500/- in the first appointment without any concern or advise. He didn’t treat for itching which was more severe. So we went to a regular hospital for another Dermatologist and now she is recovering smoothly. Now we became know that the treatment procedures was totally wrong!
Dr. Basab Sahana used to say he is most of the time staying foreign tour for his profession. There is no registration number in his prescription. Retired armed forces chief medical officer ( mentioned in his letterhead & lots). Unfortunately there was not a single patient there instead of us!
As an older man I humble request you be a professional or drop your practice not to spoil patients health. I pray for peace life .

Refer my wife sangeeta sens review and reply of dr sahana. On the 1st visit the doc did chemical pealing which the doc has not mentioned below and the acne issue aggravated. After 3 weeks on the 2nd visit again he did a chemical pealing and opened the comedones as per his recomendation only as he said this will solve the issue. His statement that it was requested by the patient is a blatant lie and anyway no qualified doc goes by patients request of opening comedoz etc. The decision is by the doc only as per his diagnosis. The acne further aggravated after this 2nd visit. We subsequently consulted 2 other docs who said the the 2 times chemical pealing was unnecesaary and only aggravated the issue. During the 2nd visit dr sahana had garrulosuly spoken about harmone imbalance etc and hence it does not matter who recommended the test. The bottom line is the treatment meted out by the doc aggravted the issue further and far from any form of cure. Hence i would never recommend a visit. Wishing dr sahana good luck with garrulous line of treatment

Very bad experience ...went with a few small pimples ...called comedos . He is only interested to do chemical pealing and busted each of those comedos injecting them each and now they are horribly huge busted acnes which are not drying at all ....looks like am in teens while I am 50 plus.
Did all hormone tests he suggested and thr is nothing wrong in the reports ...
Never one shud go to him .
Infact while chemical pealing which his wife's parlour girls do made my fore head burn too .

Pathetic. He didn't listen to me properly. He prescribed medicine for me but after the completion of the dose it occurs again and when I contacted him through WhatsApp he told me that it was a new skin problem different from the previous one. I contacted him after a month( as he told me to use the medicine for a month) maybe after 35-40 days after the previous visit but when he told me to visit his chamber again and I have to book an appointment and pay a visit charge again. My question is why do I have to pay a visit charge if my problem isn't solved yet just because the monthly period was over? I contacted him just after 35-40 days. It's so disheartening.

I got my microdermabrasion along with chemical peel on 22nd Dec..I had melasma after pregnancy thayswhy i went there.. due to rough rubbing of microdermabrasion I got a cut on forehead..
Basab sahana told to send photo after 7days..
The dark patch melasma didn't reduce a bit but moreover this cut mark now become permanent on my forehead...my forehead didnt have any cut mark before..
Another thing When someone calls for appointment BASAB sahana himself tells that he takes appointment for him .so the caller will think somebody else is speaking but it's not that.Basab Sahana himself takes all the call.
Another thing they have card machine but he told me to give cash.when I told i didn't have cash he told the parlour lady to go down with her to atm and give cash.Yes it's a parlour not exactly a doctor's clinic.
So I had experience like a nightmare.
I got a permanent injury becoz Basab sahana performed microdermabrasion so roughly.

I have been wrongly diagnosed at this place. Had been given wrong medicines as well which I had started taking. Thankfully I went to 2 more doctors right after to get additional opinions and it was then that I realized that my diagnosis and medication was completely wring. Would not recommend this doctor at all.
