First time I consulted him for muscle pains which I had been suffered from 3 months and consulted so many other doctors in the city. He had suggested blood tests and given proper medication, I have recovered very quickly. After that I consulted him with vomits, abdominal pain, he diagnosed as food infection and recovered in a week. Then I consulted with fever. Then again consulted with cold and dry cough. All ratings/reviews given on google seems fake and genuinely speaking don't trust these bought out ratings. I booked an online consultation with Dr. Gupta due to Covid situations. Almost everyone has given online 5 star rating only.
Consult any other good doctor and don't waste your time and money as this doctor do not have any knowledge.
This doctor don't even talk later after your appointment is over and don't even want to listen your condition properly.
Very bad experience, don't waste your time and money. Again my advice to everyone.

Iam not happyw boz my cholostral level was treatable with diet and excersice. But this doctor given medication. I trusted him once . Then I took medication . That I know once taken medication for cholostral should continue life long

Went to Yashoda Hospital on 21/09/2024 for my mother in law.
Doctor Name: Somenath Gupta
Issue:From 7 days she was not feeling well ,Had mild fever, join pain,
Had some rashes in hands and legs.
He gave seval antibiotics and caugh syrup and pain killer.
Also asked tests of malaria, tyfyed and dengue with other blood tests .
I don't see any of the symptoms of these.
I felt that only blood test results was enough.
I am not recommending anyone to come and do the checkup.

Admitted my mother on a friend’s recommendation for a bacterial pneumonia and our nightmare started soon after . Unnecessary ICU hospitalisation , very high dose antibiotics and tons of steroids knowing fully well that she is diabetic . She got well briefly yes but the infection relapsed and when we went back he just gave medicine for uti without even waiting for urine test results . ( please note expensive medication worth thousands of rupees every single time ) and she just kept getting worse and eventually we went to Omni hospital where under the care of Dr Rajeev ( zero steroids and just antibiotics ) she got well . Now two months have passed but her sugar levels are still insanely high ( thanks to the steroids ) and she keeps getting nasty fungal infections , water retention in legs and tons of issues 😭The most pathetic doctor I have ever visited . VISIT AT YOUR OWN RISK ⚠️

Worst experience. My spouse visited him at Yashoda Hitech City. He had all the symptoms of influenza and even doctor acknowledged them, however instead of antiviral medicine, he prescribed antibiotics which worsened the condition. Such a pathetic feeling to get wrong treatment in big hospitals. Moreover they are bound to recomend medicines which are available in hospital shop and not outside anywhere. I too booked him seeing the thousands of review, but seems like these are part of PR campaigns.

I think doctor needs to see limited patients as he can't remember anything. I had gone to him earlier he knows my case but he did forget. I am an chronic sle patient suffering from 2010. That day I had gone to him as I was feeling breathless Ness and uneasy. He just ask to check the pressure and tells my manager she is panicking nothing happened. No tests nothing he just says that to an chronic sle patient and sends me where many of my organs are affected. I believe he needs to concentrate on his patients if he wants a goodwill. Anything could have happened to me if my Kolkata doctor s did not give me medicine at that moment.
