I had pigmentation problem with few pimple issues. Dr Saumya is extermly knowledgeable and lovely human. Roots clinics has huge range of machines and great setup for treatment. She gave me few treatments like Hydra facial and Root special treatment which immediately gave a result. I was amazed that within a week I could see a huge difference. Staff members are lovely. I was treated by Sarita and Sakshi who are fabulous. Absolutely loved my experience here at Roots. Highly recommended.

Hi, Visited Root skin clinic for my skin treatment and removal of skin tags /warts...My experience was really good.. Dr Saumya is Amazing..Also they have a very good staff . "Very Disappointing Experience" I had a very bad experience at this clinic. The doctor doesn't personally perform any treatments and leaves everything to the staff, who don't even properly examine your skin. I went for treatment because my skin was dull with only one or two spots. However, after two sessions and spending a total of ₹15,000, my skin has only gotten worse. Not only has it remained dull, but now I have many more spots, and my skin continues to deteriorate day by day. I expected better results after spending such a large amount, but unfortunately, there has been no improvement. I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking proper care or effective treatment. You are proceeding with all the treatments without any skin test after my visit. Your staff is attending to two people at a time, which makes it feel like I am in a parlour, not a clinic. After sharing my concerns, you suggested that I should get a PCOS test or a sonography. However, as a doctor, you should understand the basics before recommending any skin treatment. Instead, you directly suggested laser, peeling, or a hydra facial, even though I had already informed you that my skin is sensitive.

It's just all about planned business. We have visited for hair fall. First they will ask you money before anything else. Next u hv to wait in a misguided queue. doctor gives maximum 2 minutes to patients. she was in such a hurry seems that before starting with u she wants to get u out. She even asking just anything very common factors without listening pateint and allowing them to reply anything. Than she will recommend everyone on a periodic treatment/therapy cost 12- 15k and goes on....

I went here for skin and hair consultation, the doctor is good but the clinic is mostly focused on selling treatments, luckily I opted for a lesser amount one for dandruff clensing treatment, I was told there are few step, lotion application steam , derma abresion and wash. The technician just applied the lotion on my head in 2 minutes without even drawing proper sections made me sit for 15 minutes washed my hair n that’s all, I paid 1400 for this and it felt like a total rip off , I could have just done this at home buying the solution from the pharmacy. Please avoid treatments here after the consultation.

If I could give this doctor zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, there isn't an option for that. My sister's experience with Dr. Shetty was incredibly disappointing. She visited Dr. Shetty for a small wart, and without much explanation, the doctor immediately recommended a laser procedure. We went ahead with it, but within a month, the wart returned, bigger than before. Worse, Dr. Shetty didn’t even perform the procedure herself—it was done by an assistant. She also prescribed very expensive medications that didn’t seem necessary. Later, we consulted another doctor, who informed us that a simple medication could have managed the wart and that the laser treatment was entirely unnecessary. This experience not only cost us time and money but also left us feeling misled. Adding to our frustration, Dr. Shetty started examining my sister’s hair without any request for a consultation on that issue, which felt intrusive and unprofessional. Overall, this was a deeply unsatisfactory experience. I do not recommend this doctor.

I thought this was a very famous clinic in Chembur but the reviews say otherwise. They don’t return people’s money and what not.

The doctor is really rude She didn’t even talk to the patient regarding his/her concern even for 1 min Her ₹800 is for 2 mins talk she’ll do ! 1 min for ₹400 ! Atleast she could hear everyone tlk and explain.

Instead of suggesting medicines and other treatment for allergy, the clinic is suggesting cosmetic treatment such as deep tissue injections, skin peeling, etc

I had nice interaction with the doctor. She clarified the issue and made practical commitment. However, i was highly disappointed with the staff. Two days ago due their issue i didn't get the invoices (consultation and medicine). Today i went there, after calling them, but still had to wait for half an hour just to get the invoice, meanwhile other people came, consulted, took medicine and were gone. Highly unsatisfied.

I did not have a good experience with my doctor Saumya. Whatever problem I had with my skin, it has not been cured at all and has worsened. The cost is too much and the treatment is not good, so after this I will never like to go to Root Clinic..that is why I will give it a zero rating....

Overall, my experience at roots clinic was deeply disappointing, and I am disheartened by the significant waste of both my time and money. I hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and strive to improve the quality of service offered to your patients in the future. I westing my money almost 30k. My experience at this dermatology clinic was incredibly disappointing. It felt like a money-driven operation. The doctor failed to properly explain my hair issue, instead recommending a costly procedure worth rupees 1400. The process itself was baffling – an employee, seemingly unaware of what she was doing, applied an unknown cream, used a pungent shampoo, applied serum, did some aqua procedure that amounted to nothing more than air, and then had me leave with wet hair. The doctor was unreachable, and the staff was unhelpful and clueless. To top it off, I was given medicines without any check for allergies. Definitely steer clear of this place!

My wife is undergoing treatment from past 5 months for hair fall. When we visited we were told that the hair-fall will be treated and the medicines were suggested. We underwent all the treatment and took all the medicines as suggested. However the problem didn’t solve even after 5 months of treatment. In addition hair-fall has increased. And now when we complained that the problem still persist then the doctor is saying the hair-fall is normal. As per her knowledge 100 hair fall per day is normal. After 5 months of treatment we are told that hair-fall is normal and if that is the case why did she treated us and took about 30k for no result. Her treatment has resulted in side effects and now hair fall is more as compared before treatment. I don’t suggest this doctor to any one. We want the refund of our hard earned money. I have attached the Photo of hair fall in single comb during the treatment period. Medicine price is sky rocket at the clinic. Doctor don’t care to check the progress of treatment until you insist. And many medicines like shampoo conditioner hair oil recommended at the same time which according to me make the treatment worse. I again request the doctor to return our money.

Didn't find the place genuine. I consulted for hair loss and scalp infection. Was prescribed costly medicines and injections, that are available only at the clinic. So one is forced to buy from there. I found alternatives were atleast 50% cheaper. I followed the treatment for 6 weeks. The scalp infection came back as soon as the course got over. There was just zero impact of the costly medicines on the rate of hairfall. The doctor said *try this one* and a new set of medicines and scalp cleaning/hydration package of 8 sessions was prescribed for 11k, followed by another package of 35k. It was basically trial and error. The doctor was herself not sure what exactly is the issue and what will work. Pretty disappointing experience. Won't recommend this to anyone. It's wastage of precision time and money.

I have spent 1lakh, for cystic acne. And no difference observed. They called me every 15days , to which I have adhered. Its very dissapointing to spend so much ,and dont get any results that with an educated and experienced being. And no bills been provided. I have decided to put a case on the clinic. Pathetuc experience.

The doctor is least bothered about looking after the progress and effects of the medicine once she recommends the treatment. She has left everything related to the treatment with the support staff who are not capable enough to answer the queries. When the treatment is on and if you go to see the doctor to enquire if the treatment is effective or not she will simply recommend new medicine and charge you the consultation fees for no reason since it’s her job to monitor the effectiveness of the treatment as suggested by her. No time bound treatment even after appointment. For any issue if you call the receptionist they will assure you a call back but will never call back. I have been under treatment from last 3 months and still the problem persist even after spending 25k. I regret to visit the roots clinic for treatment because of inhumane and ignorant treatment of the patient and charging very high amount at the same time.

I went on last week for face filler and eyebrow lifting, at initial they said that you trust me the result will be very good and nice , the face will be glowing and there will be more difference, the cheeks will be more lifted than now. After putting the filler there is no changes as of now. We ask them about it, but response it such a way that they are focusing only on money not on patient satisfaction. They treated me in a very harsh and rude manner. They cheated and wasted my money . They commit us something and they do something. I'm not satisfied. I totally disappointed coming to this clinic

The doctor gave less than 2 mins for consultation- didnt explain the cause of the issues and seemed to believe more in treatments over medicines or lifestyle changes. The music was loud and wasnt really helpful for a conversation. Apart from that, I am prescribed some 7 medicines but I dont really know how they are supposed to help my conditions- I will now have to do my own research on them. I like to be more informed as a patient. Hopefully this feedback will be taken well

Terrible service. I have been coming to roots on and off for over 10 months. I have never ever had a smooth experience where my pre-booked consulting has happened on time. They usually made me wait for hours just to change my medication . The last time my appointment was postponed for 2 days! And they forced to take the payment in advance. This time they booked an appointment and just left me on seen after I made the payment. It's been 3 days and they still haven't actually given me a consultation OR replied to my texts. HEAVILY mismanaged. And every single time my instructions are completely ignored when it comes to my medication. It is an exhausting and exploitative experience. Hope that I can atleast finally get a consultation that was scheduled for TUESDAY :)))

(Edited : since I am not able to answer your response I am writing here.. U r completely faking a story or u may be talking about some other patients.. I have my file and it was in my one feet only.. I hve warts only ..i have not taken any medicine for hair and skin .U can't protect your reputation by lie.. ) I was taking warts treatment one and half year back.. Once they removed my warts and taken 5000 for that.. Additional for medicine... Then after one or two months it reoccured at same place.. So they did again and charge 1200 then I go for follow up after one month and it was gone.. Then they see my toe according to them I had warts there too.. So I told them to remove and they charge 800 something... After that I shifted to my native place.. And my toe has recover it's skin but it was hurting from inside.. It never hurts before treatment.. But as I was far so I can't visit .. Then I go there 2 month back.. One sister was there he checked and ask the dr.. He told her to take 5000 .. I told her I don't have budget right know I have only 1500rs with me.. I ll come some other day.. She talked with Dr.. Then she was like u hav to pay next time 2500 ... I said ok.. But what she did.. She just given me anesthesia and remove my outer skin only within a minute.. And took 1500 rs for minutes.. I was very angry that time because I can see poora warts bhi nhi nikala tha usne... And same hurting horaha ab tak bhi... They are doing treatment but target is only business oriented.....they don't write Full tablet details on prescription.. So we can't purchase it from outside and 30 to 40 percent medicine are like u will get only there. I visited 4 times and I paid around 8000 for medicine..

Dr. Saumya provides a descent treatment however the bad part is they try to sell you unnecessary medical treatment. For a mild skin ellergy they will prescribe multiple things which are not even required. Please don't put fear in patients and try to sell your products. You will never be able to retain patients with such approach.

Staff of Root clinic is nit corporative specially Mrs Ranjana, she is very rude with the patient. But clinic’s dr is very good.

I will not recommend this place to anyone
