Dr.Mahesh, one of the best gastro doctor. I went for rectal prolapse which I had from my childhood. At first time itself he diagnosed well and clearly explained about my problem and could be cured only by surgery . He gives us confident by saying good things "it will be cured don't worry" that makes us more comfortable.Once we made decision to do surgery he clearly explained how he is going to perform surgery, method of surgery. Even On surgery day When we enter theatre at that time theatre was engaged in an emergency pediatric surgery by other surgeon so he waited there till it gets completed then he started my surgery. His follow up for pre and post surgery is tremendous. Because of him I started walking next day and recovered fully in 3-4 weeks. He gave doctor's certificate for my sick leave also for work from home to office.Even If I ask do's and dont's he answered patiently for whatever we ask like family doctor. Dr Mahesh had performed a surgery on my mother 4years ago at Global Hospital and recently when my father had to undergo a high risk surgery I couldn't trust or even think of any other doctor but Dr Mahesh. He is extremely skilled at his job and above all is a doctor with a human touch. He is very soft spoken and polite, gives you his ear patiently and makes one feel at ease explaining the diagnosis and treatment in great detail. Dr. Mahesh sundram approach very well excellent doctor

I visited him once, he gave a patient hearing and said the problem could be solved. I did tests for 1500 rs and afterwards he referred me to another Hospital citing something collateral (Probably tried to help his brethren) and I lost interest after that. The receptionists from other hospital started nagging me.I didn't go to him. Patient will readily pay if problem is solved but trying to fleece without logic isn't professional ethics.

Avg doc but outstanding ego,arrogance&lack of empathy.everything was fine until I requested d doc for a note allowing rest for 2 days given d extreme abdominal pain which I had since last 3-4days.shockingly this doctor refused n said I don't see any reason for rest after I had told him how much pain I was in n had not eaten or slept properly.he said explain to company but il not give any note.not only is he complete ignorant of how corporates work but seemed to not care at all.he not just refused but seemed to doubt my integrity as if I had come all this way,paid so much money for tests n consultation only to fulfill my agenda of getting a doctor's note.his reasoning was without test results I cannot give any note.can any test result tell how much pain a patient is in and patient has to bear d pain both physical n psychological until doctor gets his test results n continue working in office.he was least concerned if I dropped dead as long as he got his test results.it is doctors like these who give medical practice a bad name.will never visit this arrogant person again n would not even recommend as a last choice.
