I had been treated under his supervision from last one year.I have a problem of Home Dust Allergy & breathing problem also.After proper treatment through medicine & vaccination i am far better now.He is the best pulmonologist in the country.

He was reluctant to address more than one issue at a time. He prescribed medicine and told my sister (the patient) to consult him after 10 days, and he will look after the rest matters that time. I'm paying a thousand rupees, 300 rupees extra for one-time registration in Apollo. Why I can't express my concerns in ur field? Nothing but business. U can get a handful doctors in lower fees.

👎 I won't recommend this place to anyone at all... Dont believe in everything they say. The soctor is no doubt good but his staff has place even bigger than him... They will try to reply to ur genuine reviews as if u are saying wrong but u ll understand once u start visiting and after almost 2 yrs things will go back to where it was. 👎It's hard to understand who the actual doctor is, the man who explains the tests ? The man who explains the medication and processes of taking it ? The man who who listened and wrote the prescription ? All of the above are done by different people ... 😡If the doctor can't say anything about the "progressive disease " on the very 1st day, why have a visit without reports?? "A doctor who has seen more that 100 patients daily for 25 years " has so much experience that he needs very little time to identify the symptoms but needs reports done to be sure hence tests are suggested....forced or else no treatment no visit for u next time.( self explanatory experience) 👎Money 💰 is more valuable than the well-being of the patients. Sadly 😥 Every bit of the clinic is a money-making machine now. ⭐️When I first visited, Dr.Moitra was one of the very few doctors who actually focused on getting my son better and not prescribing unnecessary inhalers that never worked for my sons allergic coughs. My son has improved so much in just more than a year... 👎In just 1 and a half years, the clinic has become completely opposite to that .. 1. First, the doctor will definitely give you medication to improve the situation, but the next time you visit, u have to produce the test reports, or else no visit is allowed. 2. The visit and the next visit with or without reports has a validity of 1 WEEK... or else u have to pay the doctors appointment fee again. * If u are visiting after a year, u have to re register yourself * 3. The test cost approximately 10,000 rs that they are forcing u to do there on the spot . 4. The medication the doctor has prescribed HAS TO BE BOUGHT FROM THE MEDICAL STORE THEY OWN BESIDE THE CLINIC...they ll high jack ur prescription along with u without asking for permission and force u to buy it from there. 5. They ll tell you to have the allergy vaccine . 6. The reception and the ladies on the counter behaved as if they were superior to the doctor himself as they were rude and very unprofessional. I suggested the doctor to many of my friends and family but never expected I ll experience this in just 1.5 years ... money and money all that is happening here...very disappointed....

My whole family is under the treatment of Dr.Soibal Maitra since last 3 years. He spent little time to treatment of patients. My daughter is suffering with his bad treatment. She is very serious just now. We can't decide what we should do right now. He prescribed a over doze medicine to my sister. The bad reaction of medicine she goes serious then he transfer my sister to a dermatologist. His academic degree is very attractive but his quick decesion of patient disease visit occure harmful for patient.

Very bad experience. Because if a doctor not listen to his patients properly what type treatment we get really I don't know. My experience is really horrible I payed 1300 rs for 10 second consultation.He didn't listen my one word he just right two test and tell do those test first then I listen you whatever you says ( your problem). And then I tested and again I visited doctor saibal Moitra he just look the report and prescribed some medicine in rush and not even said something which is valuable and benifited for me . I am totally disappointed from this treatment quality.Its really bad and a new process of money making of playing a patients emotion .

Dr. Saibal Mitra is my consultant for two years, but I have many complaints- 1, my disease is not fully cured even in two years 2, still the doctor does not listen to me very well, hardly spends less than a minute. 3, He gives medicine without listening to the whole story and without giving any advice, speaks very little and does not speak well. 4, I think money is everything here, the importance of the patient is not given much

Not satisfied. He doesn't take the situation of a patient seriously. My friend is his patient but she suffers a lot but he doesn't give a say. Instead, he says that she would get well soon. A doctor must first treat and then give such statements. Really disappointed!!

Horrible experience. I had booked a prior appointment at 1:15 PM. Upon reaching the hospital (Apollo), I was told it's on a 'first come first serve' basis. I had to wait close to 3 hrs. Around 50 patients were in queue. When my turn finally came, he spent a total of less than 30 seconds. Didn't even hear me out for more than 5-6 seconds. Prescribed a blood test and a nasal spray, and I was asked to leave. To make things worse, (presumably) his assistant told me to get the blood test done at Apollo itself since "it's only done here", which I find totally misleading and possibly just a money-making policy. Even my father is a physician, but I haven't ever come across any such doctor who doesn't even have a full minute to spare for a patient!

Successfully wasted 1.5 years in his treatment. After so many doctors I got to know about dr saibal and this came out as the worst decision. Took medicines for 1.5 yr and 3 bottles of vaccines and now my condition is even worse. I would never recommend any of my friends or relative to Dr saibal. And one more thing all this positive reviews are paid ones.

He asked for 2 tests on the first day of visit, both to be done at Apollo and prescribed a nasal spray and tablet. On 2nd visit, we went with the reports, he took hardly 5 minutes, did not even tell us about the elements which caused my brother's allergy... Only mentioned dust.. Didnot even mention the medicine he should take when encountering an allergy... My brother is allergic to even basic items of day to day nature like some soap, perfumes; severly allergic to some medicines like Disprin but the doctor didn't mention any of these. He just prescibed some tablets to be taken on daily basis. The treatment wasn't upto the mark.

Worst experience, every time you visit, they will suggest new test, new vaccine, Not recommend. Just waste of money.

Very bad.After getting appointment through Apollo customer care , but Kolkata apollo gave us appointment after 3hrs.Which was very painful to us. We went to check up having normal cough with Xray plate.Dr suggested unnecessary allergy test .

Very bad experience. He treated 50nos. patient in 2hrs. 1st day he saw me and gave some test of 5000Rs. 2nd day he advised to go for CPET to a lady doctor in R.N.TAGORE hospital and come with reports after 2weeks. When I contact her for CPET, she told me to come next day in R.N.TAGORE Hospital.After paying 1300 Rs. when I reached her, she told me that machine is out of order and gave some advice by written for Dr.Saibal Moitra. But when after 2weeks,I went doctor 's chamber his secretary refused to give appointment because already 50 patient in his list and advised to come in next day. This was horrible experience for me.

This was the worst treatment of my life where I just wasted my 8-9 months taking Dr.Saibal Moitra's medicines with no relief at all.He is running a business of earning money and just focus on taking money from patients.He just gives you max 4-5 mins without hearing your problems clearly.I will never recommend anyone to visit this doctor.While taking his treatment my condition got bad to worst each day.Please don't misguide patients like this ,who trusts a doctor like a god in their worst time.Thank you 🙏

I visited the asthma and allergy research centre with my patient today (18.7.22), we had an appointment at 4pm, doctor visited at 5pm, that's still okay. When we went inside his cabin, it was just a 2 minute discussion that too a one sided one, he hardly spoke a word,just wrote two medicines and thats it, he didnt even bother to listen everything, neither he asked any question. Worst experience ever.

I visited him at dishari,malda in 2018, he just giving each patient 1 or 2 second. I never seen any doctor consult 8-10 patient simultaneously. After consulting he gives his long time money making therapy. One of my worst experience.

"Maybe" good in asthama field.. But worst in other pulmonary field.. Interesting fact that any patient suffering from other pulmonary disease and came to him, he doesn't handed the patient over or recommend to a pulmonologist. My father had copd and he was treated under him.As we know that he is asthama specialist i thought my father is also a asthama patient and he will take care him. But after my father's death(recent) i came to know that he is suffering from copd and he was in very severe condition although doctor doesn't recommend any humidifier, bipap or cipap machine and my father died..He just prescribed inhaler and inhaler..

Worst doctor. Just sitting there in the asthma and allergy centre for business. I went along with my patient he was having skin rashes all over his back. But the doctor did not bother to see those properly. He was more interested in counting money. Very bad experience. Dont visit.

Not good doctor. He prescribed a steroid meant for adult to my child leading to severe complications. Improper diagnosis. He also refused to see thereafter in emergency.

Terrible sense of responsibility. Makes patient wait for long hours outside his chamber, while he sits in and speaks with others about "important" matters. Minting money is the only priority!

my experience is very bad, my sister was under his treatment for 5 months but with no improvement.she had chronic pneumonia and lung abcess according to him, but her situation worsen and she was admitted to sskm hospital and diagnosed with lung adenocarcinoma, she has expired this month and I think he is responsible for my didi's death at the age of 42 , if he reffered her to any oncologist she would have been alive

gives absolute no time to patient party. doesnt answer any question.Though he is a very learned person but its his duty to explain at least minimal question when asked him repeatedly. Extreme bad experience !
