From the moment we met Dr.Sujoy Dasgupta we knew we were in good hands. He was warm, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of gynecology and infertility. He took the time to listen to our concerns and thoroughly explained that low AMH value does not necessarily indicate infertility or decrease our chances of conceiving. Dr. Dasgupta was the only ray of hope that motivated us to conceive naturally. Many other doctors had already told us that IVF was our last option, but Dr. Dasgupta's encouragement and expertise gave us the confidence to keep trying. Under his care, we underwent several rounds of consultation sessions and finally, we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy on 5th February, 2025. We truly believe that without Dr. Dasgupta's expertise and support, we would not have been able to achieve our dream of becoming parents. Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta is a good doctor and guide in my view, his words gave me a new inspiration to dream of becoming a mother. After two miscarriages when my baby was not conceiving. I got pregnant for the third time under sir's guidance and took sir's treatment for two months. Being a resident of Bangladesh, I was subsequently under the treatment of a gynecologist in Bangladesh and became the mother of a daughter by caesarean section at 39 weeks.

I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr Sujoy Sir for the outstanding care provided throughout my pregnancy and during the birth of my baby. From the very first appointment to the moment our little one arrived ,Sir was consistently attentive, compassionate, and highly professional. Their calm demeanor and expertise made all the difference during what could have been a very stressful time. The follow-up care has been just as impressive, and I truly feel like my health and well-being, as well as my baby's, have been prioritized. For 9 years, we had been planning for pregnancy but struggled to conceive due to my wife's low AMH level. In December 2023, we consulted Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta, whose guidance and motivation helped us stay hopeful. আমার প্রথম পুত্র সন্তান হওয়ার পর tubal ligation করিয়ে ছিলাম। দ্বিতীয়বার যখন মা হবার ইচ্ছা হয় তখন হন্যে হয়ে চারিদিকে ঘুরে বেড়াই। তখন আমার সামনে ডাক্তার সুজয় দাশগুপ্ত স্যার দেবতার রূপে উপস্থিত হন। গত এক বছর স্যারের কাছে চিকিৎসা করানোর পর আমি সুস্থ ভাবে ২৬/১১/২০২৪ তারিখে কলকাতার বেসরকারি হাসপাতালে কন্যা সন্তানের জন্ম দিয়েছি। আমার গর্ভাবস্থায় আমি সপ্তম মাসে Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy এবং Hepatitis E Virus (HEV) রোগে আক্রান্ত হই, যা মা ও গর্ভের শিশুর জন্য বিপদজনক। এই সময় স্যার আমাকে নিবিড় পর্যবেক্ষনে রাখে। স্যারের সহযোগিতা ছাড়া আমার এই পথ চলা কঠিন ছিল। আমি ডাক্তার সুজয় দাশগুপ্ত স্যার ও তার টিমকে করজোড়ে অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ জানাই, আমাকে দ্বিতীয়বার মা হবার সুযোগ করিয়ে দেওয়ার জন্য।🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta's behavior is extremely disgusting and irritating. But he's not bad as a doctor. We go to him for treatment with money. So learn to behave well.

He is the weirdest doctor I've visited ever. I have been to doctors from various states for different reasons - but Mr Dasgupta stands out in his inability to communicate with patients. I visited him on 20th jan. The only expression I saw in his face during consultation was hurry, irritation (we were slow in handing over reports), disgust and condescension. He also seems to have a ego problem. For something as important as fertility treatment, people will always look for second opinions. We mentioned our case and other doctor's opinion. We asked what his opinion was. He looked red and simply said he doesn't care what someone else thinks. He would proceed in his way - which is absolutely fine - but we wanted to know our chances given our apprehension. He completely failed that communication. The reason as I understood was simply that he was getting late (we were attended to not more than 5-7 mins). During my own checkup (male), the doctor and his assistant simply asked me to completely undress without saying what checks he's going to perform whatsoever. That's how you do medical checks in jails not in a private nursing home! On top of this, his assistant (not a doctor) acts like a male nurse (not a nurse either) but again, knows absolutely nothing on how to treat patients. The checkup experience was absolutely horrendous. I am still suffering from the pain which I repeatedly told him about during checkup but he didn't care (Varicose veins checkup). I wish he received softskills and communication trainings along with his medical degrees because he seems to lack normal human compassion. I won't be going back to him. If he can botch a clinic visit like that, I can only imagine how pathetically wrong an OT experience can go. Edit on reply: Wow, doctor, wow. We requested you to negatively assess the previous doctor's prescription repeatedly? Have some moral. We asked you once on your opinion on our chances. Also, I understand that we fumbled with the reports but nobody expects a doc to spend one hour in a opd setting. You reply makes it abundantly clear on your predisposition to bellitle your patients. And on the examination: wonder why I never had a problem with my previous urologist or the scrotal ultrasound? Because they were professional. You lacked any of that. You're free to link me to any negative reviews I have given on them. In fact, my urologist was one of the most well spoken docs I've met. And remember, I didn't go to you for a varicocele evaluation. I'm still under my urologist's treatment. Going to you was a mistake.

Very rude behaviour

I have visited Dr Sujoy on 29 dec 2023.Sujoy is a completely useless doctor. He lacks manners when talking to patients. He is very arrogant doctor.I will never go Dr sujoy anymore nor I will recommend anyone.."The doctor is treating patients for a noble cause, but he tells me, 'I am very busy.' He goes upstairs for operations and also manages the chamber. What the hell then why you choice this profession if being a doctor he said there is no time to seeing the patient."personal I will recommend don't go to him..

Worst doctor. He is not empathetic towards his patients rather he shouts at them if they ask any query. He is never punctual and illtreats his patients. He forces for IVF to every patient and talks softly before you opt for IVF and starts misbehaving once you become his prey. Yes I was under your treatment for 1 year and my 2 IVF failed in Genome. It's not a fake review just like other paid reviews.

Terrible experience. Very rude. Went to him for irregular periods, he did not even listen to me. Gave me a stereotypical medicine for generalized purpose. Would not recommend at all. You clearly interrupted and denied to hear our issue even though we tried to communicate it. If you would have heard us it would have made a little sense as in why we were apprehensive about the nature of the medicine you were prescribing. 2. Not saying we are better equipped than you with medical knowledge but you clearly lack the interpersonal skill of communication. Filling out a questionnaire just doesn't help always. Coming back to the issue of the day, you clearly shut us out and refused to hear out concern about the medication. Had you listened to us, you might have understood the problem and the apprehension regarding the same. Please lend an ear to your patient's concerns rather than using the time to get back at the poor reviews. Utter waste of time and money. Truly disappointed. Kindly refund the money. With so many positive reviews and happy stories, we have been mislead about Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta. My experience has not been a pleasant one. 1. I had consulted him for my pregnancy, right from planning for the same. At first he gave some tests for me and my husband, even after conceiving he was after my husband to undergo the tests. 2. He has an Assistant who behaves like a junior doctor. His only work is to arrange (mess) previous reports. If needed he doesn't even pass on necessary information to the doctor from the patient. 3. As a first time mother I had a lot of queries about different aspects of pregnancy, to know about the do's and don'ts. Instead of answering to queries personally he handed over to me a booklet to refer to in case of any queries. 4. As a qualified doctor, he doesn't have any opinion of his own. Whatever the pathologist doctor suggested he mentioned the same in his prescription. 5. At around 29 weeks things turned to be a nightmare for us. There was a slight anomaly in my growth scan report. He started telling us about the worst of possibilities, which, as would be parents, were difficult for us to apprehend. Instead of prescribing appropriate medicines he suggested scan twice to thrice a week. 6. Most importantly, he advised to stop an essential medicine (folic acid). I came to know from other consultants and experts, who strongly opposed to this. In a nutshell, my experience with the doctor has not been a good one. Thanks to Almighty that we shifted from his treatment and have been blessed with our little angel.

I made a big mistake by making a choice to visit Dr. Sujoy Dasgupta for my wife after seeing all the GOOD and EXCELLENT reviews about him. 1. He might be very excellent academically, but is a completely mechanical person. 2. All the support stuffs at his chamber are unprofessional and incapable. 3. The doctor always tries to safeguard himself and put all the decision making responsibility on the patient party whereas as a doctor we expect him to guide us in such a way, that as a patient party we can also make right decisions at the right time. 4. Moreover, while communicating with the patient, he never thinks what he should tell in front of the patient and what he should not. In order to keep himself safe he tells all the negative things in front of the patient without even thinking about how it will impact the patient mentally. SO THIS REVIEW IS COMPLETELY BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE... REST OF THE CHOICE IS YOURS...

I had visited Dr Sujoy Dasgupta after reading such good reviews about him online. Expected a very patient, understanding, compassionate and competent doctor who will finally be able to help me. When I visited him I got exactly the opposite. He was unbelievably rude, impatient and dismissive. I have never met another doctor as ridiculous as him. I can not speak about his competence as I never returned. He was very insulting and acted like he was giving his time to me for free. He was extremely aggressive and constantly kept insulting and ridiculing me. His behaviour definately was psychotic. I hope he learns to become a better/ sane human first before claiming to be a good doctor. My time and money is as valuable as his, if not more. If he has no time to listen to his patient then he should not take on so many appointments at once just to make money. I am almost inclined to think most of the reviews are paid or made up by his own staff. What a disappointment!

I had visited Doctor Sujay Dasgupta during 2016, he was a very good person back then, I revisited him today(01/07/2021) at the Bhagirathi Neotia Child care center at New Town. This time around I was completely shocked regarding the utter Unprofessional and unruly attitude of Dr. Dasgupta. He was in a hurry since the time our consultation started and kept saying he is getting late for some engagement that he has. Prior to us, the patients that had gone in, for each one of them he spent a good amount of time ranging from 15-20 minutes and for us he spared 5-7 minutes hardly. His behavior was very hostile, did not even speak with a courtesy that is expected from a Doctor. As a patient we expect the doctors to be understanding and they should listen to what we have to say. This is a reasonable expectation considering they are not providing consultation for free, we have paid their consultation fees and they should hear us out. Why should a patient suffer because of the doctor's own agenda or engagements. Why would the doctor agree to consult a patient if he knows he would be late for his affairs in the first place. Unruly rude behavior, way of speaking are some of the things i would like to point out about this doctor. He has the tendency to treat you at his behest. I am not sure why he treated us the way he did today, me and my wife are very disheartened with the kind of behavior Dr. Dasgupta showcased. We have reported the whole incident to the management team of Bhagirathi Neotia. I posted a feedback on Dr. Dasgupta's facebook page as well which he has conveniently removed without showing the minimum courtesy of responding to/ explaining his behavior. However, this is just to let him know that he can not go on removing honest feedbacks from every platform, i will share this on all platforms possible. A piece of advise to Dr. Dasgupta, we all have a stressful life but it does not mean that you take out your stress on others in a professional context. NOTE: In response to the reply sent by Dr. Dasgupta, i would like to add that i did not inquire about spelling of a test, For a person who communicates well in english that is not needed unless the doctor's handwriting does not make sense. secondly there's a way in which people convey message to other person, this is where decency comes in, if the doctor had an emergency and is not willing to discuss the tests with the patient they could simply say that the prescription will be explained at the reception in a polite manner, Instead he choose to say and i quote his words: "It is NOT possible for me to explain everything, i don't have time for this"...ONLY myself, my wife and the doctor knew how he communicated to us in the consultation room, It is not at all as simple as the doctor puts it in his reply. If that was the case why did he choose to delete the post on his facebook page instead of replying the same thing that he did here? And Dr. Dasgupta it's not about competing for time with others, it's about sparing time to hear out the patient, please understand there is a difference. Anyhow, i hope you have got the message. any sensible person understands Emergency and a sensible person also understands when someone speaks to them rudely which is not appreciated at all

One of the worst unprofessional doctor I have ever met. If you are non Bengali please do not visit. He only speaks Bengali not even fluent in english or hindi. since we visited kolkata for treatment and we are not fluent in Bengali, so we try to share our issue in hindi. Suddenly he was so angry and started to talk about politics of Bengali and Non Bengali/ not to use hindi in west bengal/ hindi people are dominating our nation/ all non bengali shall be removed from West Bengal etc..and told that he will see only bengali patients. Moreover he started to misbehave us. We are shocked to see his behaviour and It feels like he is a psycho so we told him grow up doc. we are here for check-up and seems you are less doc and more communal psycho so we do not want to see you. 3rd class mentality in 20th century…we have not show him and left his chamber. Thank god we have not show him.

I have never seen a RUDEST doctor in my life. Me and my wife went to Neotia Newtown to consult with him for the first time. The minute we stepped in his chamber and made a small remark how we waited one week to consult him (intention was to convey we hold him in high regard) , this person became AGGRESSIVE towards us, since with his TWISTED mindset he thought we are somehow accusing him. It went downhill going forward, and finally after 15 minutes of most HARSH, RUDE and downright UNPROFESSIONAL behaviour bordering on ABUSE, I understood the main issue. The hospital has informed the doctor earlier he has 10 patients for the day, but in reality he has around 15-16 patients and he is getting delayed to his other commitments. He even ACCUSED us of not being serious enough since we did not come within the first 3 patients in his queue (we were 12). He keeps saying that he is SHORT on time and keeps on talking RUBBISH, while I wondered somebody who is so SHORT on time, can spend 15 minutes simply to INSULT a patient who is investing both TIME and MONEY for his PROFESSIONAL SERVICES. We APOLOGIZED profusely almost 20 times during this consultation, but his RANTING continued. In my opinion, this person has ANGER MANAGEMENT issues and lacks basic PATIENCE to listen to his opposite person, nor has any common COURTESY which we expect from a fellow CIVILIZED person. It does not matter if you have made a small mistake or misspoke something or asked one too many questions or there is some circumstance beyond your control, if you find him in a FOUL MOOD (which I suspect occurs quite often), he will immediately become HOSTILE towards you and make you MISERABLE. I know this person or someone from his camp will reply in the harshest manner possible, but BEWARE ANYONE WHO IS GOING FOR THE FIRST TIME , ESPECIALLY IF YOUR APPOINTMENT IS IN THE MORNING AND IN NEOTIA NEWTOWN.

The worst experience in my life, I never got behave like this.The waiting room was suffocated so I felt breathing problems, I stood outside,so a stuff was shouting at us. Dr.just asked questions and we answered it, he became furious when we were talking about our previous doctors report. (It's lie we didn't misbehave.we did not agitated. n second if I can't discuss about my problem what's point to go there.)
