My mother was pregnant at the age of 45+ it was twin high risk pregnancy with low lying placenta, at 4 months bleeding series has started on step by step it was becoming wrost then we met DR. Lahori (we went to her by Google reviews only) she was there for us at every step she guide us about the treatment and all the possible risk but mam handles all the situation and risk soo well that we happily delivered our baby at 34 weeks both mother and baby are fine . Me and my family are soo greatful to mam all we can say that thank you so much to make our journey soo soft ❤️

"Best Lady Gynecologist in Kolkata" - this is not true about Dr. Lahori Roy. No doubt she is " Best Gynecologist in West Bengal". And indeed she is THE BEST. Such an amazing personality, always smiling, and she solves even the most complex problems so smoothly and efficiently. During my wife's pregnancy period, we faced few challenging days due to some issues with her Liver Functions, and Mam was the one who encouraged us to be strong and never made us feel nervous. The full journey was very smooth . Yes- there were ups and downs throughout the process while emotions runs really strong. But we were fortunate that Mam guided us throughout the Voyage. She was swift while responding / clarifying every single doubt we had, be it the smallest one. The Delivery went really smooth and seamless. During OT -Myself, My wife - we both were bit tensed. But Dr. Lahori Roy and her Full team made it look so simple. We had some nervousness with regards to the Operation Theater. But never thought an OT can be like this, where everyone is doing their Job with utmost care and expertise, yet cracking jokes to keep the environment light so that the patient dont get nervous. After Delivery, my wife was fit in hardly 4-5 days , and the funny thing was that she was in doubt, whether Mam actually did the operation or not 🙂🙂- it showcase how proficient/ knowledgeable and experienced she is in her profession. According to my Wife, Dr. Lahori Roy is a magician. Not only as a Doctor, She is a great human being too. I had recent OT in january 2025. She is the best. She is always avalaible in whatsapp and call for any emergency situation. I had high risk pregnancy and I gave birth a healthy baby boy under her supervision. I am thankful to her for everything

We have an appointment for a checkup on 27/07/2024. The doctor charged us but provided poor consultation, didn't review our previous reports, and prescribed medication for two months that didn't work.

One of the worst gynaecologist from Kolkata. Highly recommend not to visit her . No medicine gives as per standard medical practice.

I am writing this review after a long time that I had consulted her for my pregnancy. And writing sheerly for social cause, so that anyone else doesn't have to go through the trauma and pain that I had faced. I went to consult Dr. Lahori Roy only because she is associated with Woodlands hospital and I had a lot of trust in their name. However unfortunately I had a very very bad experience. In one word, she is not a good doctor. She is negligent of her patients issues and doesn't have the know how to handle high risk, preeclampsia, over 35yrs pregnancy. Though she was responsive over texts and calls her negligence and casual outlook caused a lot of issues for me post delivery and for my baby as well. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. The only good thing about this whole experience was she connected us to a good pediatrician. And a small piece of advice to all expecting mothers, always, always take a second opinion if you have even an iota of doubt. It is a life and death situation and only by sheer luck and God's grace are both me and my baby alive.

I msg her to know low budget hospital name where she can perform baby delivery, she said for this information you need to meet me. I met her in RSV Hospital. I'm from Delhi, normally hospital decide the total pregnancy cost. But she is unique doctor, she said my charges are not included in 80,000 INR pregnancy package of hospital. I charge fix 55,000 extra over 80k hospital billing. This is Scam..I never heard of this thing before but in Kolkata hospital only. My first child was delivered from Max hospital Delhi. Pregnancy package cost was 60,000 INR via insurance,.I didn't pay anything extra to our Gynaecologist. Biggest and best Apollo hospitals charge hardly 1 Lac, no additional cost need to pay to Gyna. But Lahori mam charge 55K fix plus 80K minimum that you will pay in hospital total 1.32lac Rs in small grade hospital. I'm ready to pay 55k to her directly if she performs my child delivery at her home, for what I'm paying 80k to hospital? For dirty single bed only?

Disclaimer : Story of an educated civilised "rude" doctor. Yes, we do consider doctors God, but that does mean you claim yourself to be the conquerors. It's very rare when I call out over a social platform because most of the times I feel I can handle in person with whomever it may be concerned. But I would like to call out this doctor as more people should know about doctors like them who might be very educated and knowledgeable, but extremely rude and have no etiquette. Such doctors can leave you anytime in the middle of a sea because they aren't trustworthy at all. So today I took a virtual consultation with Dr. Lahori Roy - Gynecologist.There were few available slots shown from which I chose 3:30pm for my consultation. Now I had her personal number and it was she who suggested me few days back to go for virtual consultation if needed. Now when I informed her of the timing she said to reschedule. When I tried to reschedule the portal said it's not possible as it's against their clause. Rescheduling and refunding can only be done 3 hours and 6 hours prior to the consultation respectively. I did let her know this. Suddenly she becomes extremely rude. She BLOCKS me even when I was polite to her. She claimed she did not receive any money from the portal and that is why it was not her concern. Firstly, she should have been aware of the portal system and kept slots available as per her schedule. It might be possible that there is an emergency situation. But in that case it's her fault. Secondly, How can you be so rude with a patient!!?? The patient is not inferior to you in any way. The only thing that makes the patient go to a doctor is his or her health issue. You didn't get the money, fine. But you could have been patient enough to listen to me and maybe help with some other options. Even if not a help, politeness would do no harm to you. I just hope I get the money back. Maybe she took advantage of my politeness and patience. It will not affect me as a person but I hope I'm able to make people aware of her. A gold medalist gynaecologist with several educational degrees indeed! Incidents like this often make me ask myself how much education can actually make a person "human" in it's truest term. Anyway, wish you love and empathy. You lack both. ❤

For a appointment I call to her But I think the call was rcved her p.a Her spoken language was too bad Hope so she was thinking that she is a VIP and I call her for a job vacancy or something else

Unfortunately your secretary/assistant does not address appointment procedure in full & moreover, puts the call on mute and disconnects the line multiple times. That’s my first impression & unsure how the next steps unfold.
