I’m giving a 3 star for communication and process times but not to the phenomenal care/expertise by doctors here
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I had during a recent visit to your facility as a parent of a young patient. While I understand that hospitals can be busy and dynamic environments, the issues I encountered highlight critical gaps in communication and service that need immediate attention.
1. Appointment Booking Process:
I booked a consultation appointment well in advance via phone. However, at no point was I provided with any information regarding the appointment process, what to expect, or the steps involved. This lack of communication created unnecessary confusion and stress. Clear guidance during the booking process is essential, especially for families traveling from abroad.
2. Unwelcoming Reception Staff
Upon arrival at your facility, I was disheartened by the lack of warmth and professionalism at the reception. When I approached the desk, I was simply handed a new patient form to fill out. Once completed, I was directed to make payment and then taken to the vital check/emergency ward without any proper acknowledgment or explanation. A more welcoming and patient-focused approach at the front desk would significantly enhance the experience for anxious families.
3. Lack of Communication Regarding Wait Times and Processes
Following the vitals check, I was directed to the ultrasound area. Again, no one provided any information about wait times or what would happen next. Despite having an appointment, my child and I had to wait for over two hours, repeatedly requesting updates before being attended to. To add to the frustration, I was informed that walk-in patients were being accommodated alongside reserved appointments. This undermines the entire purpose of scheduling an appointment and prioritizing patients accordingly.
I strongly urge your team to address these pain points by:
• Ensuring that all appointment bookings include clear instructions on what families can expect during their visit.
• Training reception staff to be more welcoming and communicative with patients and their families.
• Establishing a transparent system for managing appointments and walk-ins, including clear communication about wait times and processes.
As a parent seeking specialized care for my child, I came to your facility with high expectations. Unfortunately, the lack of organization and communication diminished the confidence I had in your services. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve the experience for other families in the future.

The dedicated medical team provided exceptional care throughout the entire process. Their attentiveness and skill created a positive experience for our family during a challenging time. The staff's commitment to my baby well-being is truly commendable. Their gentle approach and supportive nature fostered a comforting environment. It's wonderful that our little one received such excellent care. We want to thank personally Dr. Nageswarao garu and Dr.Ganapathi Subrahmanyam garu for the personal care they have taken to our little one and we want to thank to co-ordinators for their support in this process.

How can the washroom of a hospital be so bad? There were no basic amenities like a wash basin in the women’s washroom.
Didn’t expect this low hygiene from Rainbow hospitals specially for the patients it was made for and going to be their key patients for most of their tenure.
Pathetic

Many reasons for not to visit orr recommend this hospital few of them are 1 worst facility
2 over charged prices of medical supplies
3 worst staff behavior
4 not even a single person can stay inside hospital and they have worst waiting area
5 if you want to feel bad by paying lakhs of rupees and you want to waste your valuable time and money then you can go for this waste hospital
You will end up here in cold👎👎👎👎👎👎

Don’t go more than 2 ppl with the children.. they won’t allow you to go inside .. first time saw this kind of thing in normal hospital ..
Please add a board or some notes on Google that only 2 ppl are allowed .

Worst management in this hospital. No one should ever visit here. No service Air conditions are not working. They simply ignore patients.
Priyanka Thatavarthi
I recently had an experience at Rainbow Children's Heart Institute, and unfortunately, i was very very dissatisfied. Despite the critical nature of the services they provide, the hospital staff displayed a significant lack of organization, particularly when it came to managing files and patient records. This disorganization led to delays and confusion, which is unacceptable in a healthcare setting, especially one specializing in pediatric cardiology.
The staff are very Lame and Arrogant. No proper response from employees who will be assisting patients. Even with prior appointment it takes 4 hours min to meet the doctor all because of the improper management in files. And for the fees they are charging they can provide better service but failed to do so.
Improvements in staff training and facility maintenance are urgently needed to ensure that patients receive the high-quality care they deserve.
And they are asking every patient to give 5 star rating in Google so thats the reason you are seeing so many positive reviews they are asking to do it infront of them. VERY VERY DISSATISFIED

Worst service we have lost my 13 months baby we should go for second opinion they have looted huge amount and my baby is no more. Worst service #Rainbow Heart institute #

Worst management, security at OP reception hall was rude and even complaint about the him at Duty On Manager, no response. Security guard himself feels as owner of the hospital. We attend the hospital regarding treatment and those security was simply changing mood , he was arguing . He tried to disrupt the Doctor consultation also. If you don’t change the security guard, I will post more and more negative reviews about him.

They have wasted our time. Kept waiting for 4.30+ hrs for just a scan despite appointment booked. Car parking issue. Not recommended for expecting parents.

They don't allow any visitor to reception area unless patient is with you

Nursing practice in this hospital is a joke. My son got infected (in ICU) with sphingomonas mobilis and got a deep bed sore as a direct result of poor nursing. The head doctor (Dr. Nageshwar Rao Koneti) could use a refresher on collaborative practice in patient care. I'm glad I moved my son out to a hospital with doctors who actually cared.

Worst hospital. They will mostly care for money. Taken appointment at 2:15PM for 2D echo but they delayed for 3Hours for 5Months baby. Irresponsible staff and irresponsible doctors.I don’t recommend this at all.
Review after appointment::
1. I don’t need to travelled form Manikonda and spend around 4K rupees for 5min improper scan and 2min doctor appointment. We spend our time and money because you’s is reputed hospital where my baby will be treated well. So please stop running after the money at least on kids.
2. Please work on the appointment schedule timing because you are dealing with babies under 2years, for parents it will be difficult task to control them.
3. Please switch on the feeding room AC which is located underground without any ventilation. How do you think mother and babies will have safe feeding in that room or you can charge extra money at the time of appointment booking for feeding room AC.
4. Please don’t give more scanning appointments for the sake of extra money to earn. Scanning persons cannot concentrate on the babies problems.

This place doesn’t have parking at all! Worst place to visit

I don't have zero star option and hence giving 1 star. My wife has been visiting the specialist doctor in Rainbow who is very good. The doctor in Rainbow hospital adviser her to complete bed rest. Unluckily, one scan seems to have been possible only in Banjara Hills branch. We took prior appointment before coming here. My wife is a registered patient in the Rainbow hospital. Still, they made us wait in the chair (against what doctor advised) for couple of hours just for registration which I don't understand the purpose as it is the same chain of hospitals and after appointment is taken. They are understaffed which causes loss of patience for the staff, overcrowded, lack of maintanance, the chairs are dirty.
Overall... The doctors are good and caring but the administration has failed utterly. When you can't manage, you should give relaxation and tell your doctors to accept the scan reports taken outside the hospital chain. If it is against your policy, improve your facilities so that patients with special care can be safe.

My daughter passed away 3rd day after surgery.when we asked for reason duty doctor said unfortunately happeneds some times few kids con't tolarate.on the day when our kid passed away she was doing well at 6pm in icu.suddenly around 1am got a call saying kid not responding cardiac arrest she is no more.
Also they asked to pay 1lakh to handover the baby, once thay get insurance
amount he promised that they will refund it....next day they called us and saying that you had pending amount to pay so amount con't be refunded.when we heard our baby was no more I can't sit and bargain with you for money.i trusted their consultant words but we shouldn't I think. Don't trust blindly.

Great doctors but worst management. We took appointment at 2 pm and even after 4 hours we are still waiting because all doctors are engaged with inpatients. There are almost 20 parents waiting with kids. There is no doctor available to see. Iam experiencing this for the 3rd time with this hospital.

Cafeteria is very unhygienic has too many cockroaches spotted. Considering no outside food allowed and young children being served the food. Too much negligence in the cafeteria maintenance. Have shared the video and photos taken with grievance cell need to see how they act.

What is the point in taking prior appointments when they don’t call you at the appointment time?

Security didn't allow parking for four wheeler even though there was one spot available. Also there was no parking nearby. This is pathetic.I am 5.5 month pregnant and i had to wait outside so long till my husband came.
Osman Maqsood
