I came to Dr prateek bhatnagar for my father suffering from triple vessel heart disease ( a heart blockage) from chattisgarh all around. My father Dr Raoof Khair who is very famous Indian poet and writer (Hyderabad) was feeling chest congestion and breathlessness on 19th Dec Sunday. We rush to Olive hospital in emergency and he got admitted because BP was very and next day Dr Kulkarni did the angiography where we came to know that there are 3-4 blockages and Bypass surgery needs to be done immediately. After taking multiple opinion and reviews I took the appointment of Dr Prateek Bhatnagar cardiac surgeon. After seeing angiography CD Dr Prateek advised me to bring the patient to Care hospital. His way of talking and confidence boosted our hope , this is one of signs of Expertise Dr. So I immediately took the discharge from the other hospital and got him admitted in Care Hospital on 21st Dec in early hours after few tests Dr Prateek Bhatnagar did the Bypass surgery easily in 3hrs. My mom Mrs S was diagnosed with multiple blocks (around 8. Some blocks are close) and Dr's recommended that she had to undergo CABG. We wanted her to get the best health care and at the same time, something that is less painful like not have any additional cuts on hands and legs if possible. Have been to multiple hospitals and consulted best cardiothoracic surgeons in Hyd to look at the possible treatment options, procedures and costs involved. We realized that some of the hospitals starts minting patients and their families right from parking fee, even though the parking is in basement of same hospital. After careful consideration and assessing our options, we felt BIMA is the best option for my mom as she is diabetic and we realized Dr Prateek Bhatnagar is the best surgeon for this procedure. Therefore, fixed the date and mom underwent procedure. Dr said that its a complicated surgery but a successful one. Mom recovered quickly and its been 8 days. She is getting better every day. Had an incredible experience with Dr. Prateek Bhatnagar. He is patient and has explained the advantages of using BIMA (which the doctor specialises in) versus the other bypass grafting methods which have a lower life cycle. The surgery was done with no cuts on the heart and legs and the patient was able to walk just 2 days into the surgery (albeit with some help). Overall, I would recommend Dr Prateek at Virinchi People's Hospital for anyone who is considering CABG.

My dad had surgery on 7th December 2024 and this doctor some how convinced my father to have by pass surgery just for 2 blockage in veins, my dad trusted this doctor because of his experience and after having by pass surgery my dad got brain stroke on 9th December 2024, Dr bhatnakar promised that he will find the vein with in heart but post surgery he did cut in my dad's arm to take out vein from his hand, my dad was in ICU for 10 days and later discharge from hospital, Dr bhatnakar understood that my fathers condition became critical and didn't even gave the reports of brain stroke and my father died just 2 months after surgery. My father also developed Pseudo membranous colitis because of so many Antibiotics, My father was very good before surgery and after having this surgery my father was in so much physical and emotional stress, my father trusted this doctor which was a big mistake. my father would have gone for stents instead of by pass surgery which was suggested by our family doctor. please be careful before deciding to go to this doctor because we lost our head of the family. My sincere review is that my father was 70 year old and he was loosing weight and he was having minor digestion issues but he was not in a condition to do BIMA by pass surgery but still he was doing well before surgery, in such condition it is better to rely on medicines or least go for stents because there is only 10% of chances of survival after BIMA by pass surgery in old age Adults...

Guys whoever reading my review please note that my dad had a surgery during the first week of November 2024, and this doctor made lots of promises before the surgery. My dad was in the ICU for 10 days and post discharge he died on day 4 with multi organ failure, cardiogenic shock and multiple issues, he was in very good condition before the surgery, before the surgery angiogram report confirmed double vessel disease and LMCA disease, there are so many things which seems total fraud, thinks like they were never transparent with laboratory reports or results, The 2D echo report was very bad post operative compared to pre operative, my dad had developed stage 4 bedsore during the hospital stay but this information never shared or highlighted, no laboratory test were carried out nor provided, his breathing pattern was not normal, he couldn't able to stand up on his feet, he was never stable post operative he developed Sepsis during the hospital stay but this information was never shared..The team Bhatnagar at VIrinchi is just not upto the mark, they only cover things which are in their package and never bothered doing proper investigation before releasing the patient post surgery....please please be careful

After my grandfather suffered from a heart attack we took him to UMCC for an angiogram, after seeing some bad regurgitation we took him to doctor Prateek Bhatnagar, a very experienced and an exceptional surgeon. I was very happy to see that the doctor was emotionally invested in my grandfathers health he was very patient with us in explaining all the problems and his condition every day. Edit my grandfather had a bad experience during discharge and they had overlooked a bleed in his lungs which seemed odd as they did the scan right before discharge and then my grandfather died 10 days post discharge due to organ failure. Would not recommend

The reason why I am re-writing or posting another review is because my previous review was read by 312 people. I felt people should know the TRUTH behind these high ratings. Guess what, just like others I am still scared that my mom wont be looked after, so using other name. My mom was diagnosed with mutiple blocks in January 2022 and she is diabetic too. Shown to few doctors in NRT and Guntur, they are not Cardiothoracic surgeons and so they said it's difficult. Consulted few of big hospitals in Hyderabad and I came across Dr Pratik Bhatnagar. I read so many positive reviews and I felt these are the EMOTIONS felt by the patients family members and so they must true. I opted for Dr Pratik Bhatnagar. We went ahead with operation. Post surgery, when my mom was in ICU, she over heard two nurses discussing about another patient, that they had not paid money and so let the throat pipes stay. So when my sister visited mom, she was like did you guys pay the money, this is what I heard from nurses. Is that the reason they put pipes down my throat? HER INNOCENCE. All went well. After my mom was discharged, they kept on pressurizing us to give review. Called us 5 times within 3 days. For the fear of not being seen well by the doctor, I gave a 4 star review just like all others I GUESS. Are they worth that rating? Let's see what happened post operation. We all know what a long standing diabetis and big surgeries, can do to a person. After 2 weeks of discharge, mom was asked to come for consultation. They drove for 5 hours and went to the doctor. After making mom wait for 4 hours or so, they said doctor is busy and can't see her today. They forgot to make appointment for her. How can they? We had to stay overnight in a hotel and then see the doctor next day. During third consultation (2 months post surgery), they made her wait for 4 hours knowing she is diabetic and though she was third in line. The reason being all others need to undergo surgery means big money, whereas the ones who are consulting post surgery, its just few thousand. Its that simple. All said here is true to what happened. All of us are spending lakhs, spend few more thousands, consult few doctors and take the right decision. Don't go by reviews alone. Its not a restaurant. For the fear of not being seen well, they might rate high.

A very arrogant and rude doctor. Told us that the surgery is very very straightforward and simple but then he messed it up in the surgery. He basically did the CABG procedure twice resulting in the operation lasting for 12 hours and then my uncle passed away a couple of days later due to multiple organ failure resulting from the surgery. He did not have the basic human courtesy to apologize. Moreover, in the death summary report he lied without shame that he advised the family of the criticalness and how complicated the surgery was. He is not the one to be trusted. Please be careful while giving your loved ones life in his hand. If he ever says the surgery is straightforward, ask him for a written note before the surgery or record it, for he doesn't hesitate to go back on his words when something goes wrong.

We have bad experience ....we have still many issue after operation and doctor never help .. i feel why i go this doctor ...

Should not trust this kind of doctors.Have to hang this doctors. Never play with lifes of healthy people
