We have been consulting Dr Manish Shah for over 15 years now for routine check ups, cataract surgeries and glaucoma. He is extremely good in his interaction with patients and expert in his field. From the moment I stepped into Doctor's clinic, I knew I was in excellent hands. Amazing experience for having both my cataract eye surgeries performed by Dr Manish Shah, who has operated on more than 3 of my family members too. Experience right from taking appointment to post surgery, flawless! The entire staff, right from the receptionists, optometrists, surgery staff, insurance claim, help staff as well Dr Prabhu (the anasthesist) are ever helpful and will make all efforts and ensure any questions, if any, are promptly addressed and you are put at ease. Finally, the expertise of Dr Manish Shah and you know why folks are always teeming at his clinic! The wait time during any initial check up is the small price to pay for this expertise.

Alot of waiting time inspite of appointment Good doctor

In the past I.e in the month of Feb.25, I was in US. There there was problem in my right eye ( glucoma affected) I wrote an email for remedies for same but there was no reply. Unfortunatly I have to contact US eye doctor and send $300 for that.

Great knowledge about disease. Well mannered and discipline staff.

I was a new patient, and went to discuss a doubt regarding my eyes and eyeglasses. He charged me Rs. 1500 and gave no explanation. I asked what the reason was for my problem. He just said forget about it, don't think about it, it's nothing. Basically, it meant - I should keep compromising. The compromise was fine, it was a minor one. But I atleast deserve a brief explanation of the reason behind the issue and why nothing can be done about it. Classic case of god complex that you see many Indian doctors having. They just want to clock in as many patients as they can in a day. To be honest, waste of money. Rather go to govt hospital where you can get it done in Rs. 200. And who knows, maybe they'll even explain to you properly. If not, atleast you saved money.

Very unhappy with the behaviour of Dr Manish Shah. He may be a good doctor but he failed as a human. He misbehaved with my mother who is 80 years old. We had a concern with her eye after the cataract surgery he had performed. When she voiced her opinion he shouted at her on the top of his voice saying can you run at this age by wearing shoes worth 10k, hence don't think your eyes can be perfect with our best Lens. Is this how an experienced doctor behaves. He has not only demotivated my mother but also brought her morale down. She feels she won't get fine. You may be the best dr but at the end if you don't treat your patients right your expertise is a waste and to me he is a failure. Not sure if the surgery was even needed. Ill treatment of a senior citizen is unacceptable. Wonder how he treats his own parents. I definitely do not recommend him.

No point taking an appointment here because they don't respect slots. If you book a certain time they'll yet prioritise folks who walked in before you and make you wait for at least an hour

Staff and doctors are super friendly and interactive but it seems they charge tremendously, more than you could expect

The Doctor is very good. The experience outside at the reception was horrible. Very long waiting time. No preference was given to appointment time. Patients who came later were taken first. We reached at 4.45 for 5PM appointment and we got to see the good doctor after 6.40PM. People who came after 5.30PM got in before us. After drops were put for dilation of pupil, the optometrist did not bother to check again if pupil had dilated. We were just waiting patiently. Waiting time can be acceptable but non adherence to appointment sequence is difficult to put up with. We were finally taken in after questions to the staff. The excuse was there were many patients, but that doesn't justify why people who came later were given preference. They just don't keep a track of waiting patients. The very same optometrist who checked us and put drops in eyes, when questioned about the waiting time at 6.30PM asked us if eye checkup had been done. Something seriously needs to be done about the appointment sequence.
