They work on24hr/7 and disturbing our sleeping time but when you see the flooding everywhere I think the inhabitants have to cope with them..The dimention of the drains is incredible comparing to those in my home town .almost 1mt by 75 cms width.This way it can contain the flow easily...keep up your good job people of Chennai mainly at Nungambakkan...
