I recently underwent PRK surgery (👀) at Dr. Agarwal Hospital eye hospital at Indiranagar branch and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience , The Team of doctors , especially Dr Sanjana ( Surgeon ) and Dr. Namrata was thorough in explaining the procedure and make sure I understood all the aspects of the surgery.
The PRK procedure was smoother than I anticipated and cost of the surgery was very less compared to other hospitals .
Ms.Subhadra counsellor who assisted me throughout the pre and post surgery , she answered all my questions , explained the process in detail and helped ease any anxiety I had about my surgery
Post surgery , the follow up care excellent , I felt my recovery was closely monitored with frequent check ups after the surgery ( Day 1 , 3 , 7 and after 10 days and so on )
Thank you Dr. Sanjana ji.. 🙏

I had SMILE operation yesterday, Staff was very friendly and supportive. Just a tip for upcoming patients. There will be a small sensation during operation, so don't panic and dont blink. All will be well.

Lazy eye treatment - We have treated our kid for lazy eye problem in Agarwal's Indiranagar. Dr. Sanjana Vatsa suggested to go for Curesee which is a software package (set of games) designed for lazy eye problem. Truly it has yielded us very good results. My kids vision improved from 6/36 to 6/9. Thanks to the doctor and curesee. We suggest anyone having this problem can go for it. Only thing required is to do the computer games regularly without missing a single day

I did not like the experience in Dr Agarwal’s lab. They just charge you for the machines they have in the center and then ask you to travel to other places for different scan. The staff (counsellor) at Indiranagar branch is also very rude. She does not know how to talk to patients. A patient before us was also screaming at her because of the languages she uses to talk to patient/customer Bhama

I have booked appointment at 9AM and visited the clinic and I am the only person inside the clinic now. Looks like this is not a corporate clinic rather than a government hospital. In Google they mentioned they will open from 9 and accepts the corporate bookings. But No one is present in the premises.

They do everything on time till they take your money. Once they take the money for a simple check up they make you wait. They add you to the waitlist but don't call you and prioritize other patients. The reception seems completely disorganized and dont communicate well between them. They asked us to go ground floor and then to anew doctor in 1st floor and then asked us to go downstairs again.
The whole ordeal was time taking and we had to wait 2 hrs for hardly a 2 min consultation that said all is well.

As contrary to my past consultations which were great, this recent consultation was below par.
I tried checking twice about the reason and why the eye irritation happened? I felt like I am wasting doctor’s time. Probably that wasn’t the case but I felt as such.
It was hardly 1 minute first time and 30 secs the second time when I requested to speak with the doctor again.
In conclusion, I am not convinced with the explanation. I will just go ahead and apply the drops and let’s see.

Receptionist was very impolite and speaking in rude manner to the patient and did not give appropriate information on when to visit doctor as we need to come from other city, and also not listening to our querry properly. It is very unprofessional behaviour.

Service was good but the cataract operate eye is continuously giving trouble. Turning red every now and then. I don't know where was the gap. I followed up with the hospital multiple times and they said everything is normal.
Ashok Kumar Chandrasekaran
Doctors are busy eating Samosas and laughing around instead of spending time talking to the patient. The doctor spent less than a minute with the patient for the 600Rs consultation fee that was charged.
Meghana Achar
No point of calling the customer care for an appointment, they give false information regarding waiting time and availability of appointment. Worst service and have respect for patients time.

I had made a prior appointment and was still made to wait 2 hours, because the staff and the doctors were giving preference to walk-ins that were under the table. I went there for a normal checkup but doctor didnt give any insights and asked me to come for two more visits. They charged me 1000 and prescribed me 1500 worth eye drops. I just wanted a normal eye checkup

the ground staff are not attentive and very poor professional etiquette’s
the reception people gossip and stand in group and do side comments and laugh
the counsellors are not professional they just talk in fly there is no transparency on the pricing and it’s a face to name bases
the people in the counter who collect people have very bad attitude i don’t see empathetic behaviour anywhere in the hospital
some are drowsy sleepy and some are gossiping in groups

Had worst experience at Indiranagar center with Dr Sanjana Vatsa.
Issues :
1. Waiting time of over 3 hrs even after booking a scheduled appointment
2. Unnecessary tests ordered worth Rs 4000 that were really not required
3. Irresponsive even after asking to explain the report. Says too much to tell you
4. No acknowledgement of patient issues
I saw this happening across all patients. Plz be coagnizant before visiting

Process for booking online appointment is just pathetic as call centre executive will give some time but once reached to Indiranagar location ,they will blame call centre saying . We have informed them .there is rush so you have to wait for atleast 1 hr then what is the point of booking appointment online perior. This is happens to all who ever is visiting. Every one is shouting in the reception.
All other things are good but waiting for doctor is just not acceptable after fixing appointment.
I have been seating with Senior Citizen last 3 hrs. Frontend staff are very roud.
Not recommended. As service is pathetic.

PLEASE READ COMPLETELY
My negative review is purely for the incorrect advertisement this Hospital is posting. We have been receiving Ads from Dr Agarwals for free Eye check up for kids for the month of June as Back To School campaign. But when I visited to get my kids checked they charged 1200 rupees. 600 for each kid. This is actually misinformation and inappropriate behavior. Please don't go with their ads as it is a scam. Otherwise, doctors are good.

Worst place ever...
Had to wait for more than 1 hrs to get my check up done.
Even after getting the prior appointment, the doctors were checking there known people first.

I had a frustrating experience at this clinic. The reception staff were unhelpful and seemed completely disorganized. They overbook appointments and required me to arrive an hour early, only to make me wait an additional two hours. When I asked how long it would be until my number was called, the reception guy just kept saying it would take time and couldn’t provide any estimate or order. It's unacceptable from reputed hospital like this. Overall, a complete waste of my time.
Nagraj Nayak
It used to be the best in terms of consultation but recently the entire staff has changed and management is pathetic
They now provide wrong information
Prior to our visit when we called them on Monday 10-April-2023 reception we were informed that Hemant Sir would be available on Thursday i.e 13-April-2023 at 10:00. We have to travel 1.5 Hours hence we confirmed Hemant Sirs availability prior to planning to reach there.
Today when we reached here we are informed that Hemant Sir would be available at 14:00 IST.
The reception have been worst now and not customer centric
Request you to have a look into it as it tarnishes the Hospitals image

Heights of unprofessionalism. Inform if you’re shut for festivities and not send follow up msgs for checkups till an hour before only for the patient to reach the outlet to find that it’s shut.

Very worst front desk people! They don't know how to behave with patients. Very unprofessional staff.

I had a very pathetic experience recently. I went for an eye checkup and they suggested an increase in power, almost double the current power. They rely only on the machine power and were very reluctant to share the manual power test results. I did not get it even on insisting. I could hear during the test that one eye is same and one eye has some change. I was asked to take a cornea scan worth 3k. Even after dilatation, only machine reading was done, no proper examination by the doctor. I got my tests done at two more hospitals and the change was a minor 0.25 increase. Simply suggesting expensive scan and improper diagnosis!

Never ever visit this hospital for my eye check up. After visiting them for 3 times for eye checkup now I’m fed up with them. (To be precise from 2021) Doctors never provide the diagnosis report for what you have visited there. Simply they are there to push to purchase medication and glasses. After requesting also I was not provided the notes of what happened and what is the diagnosis I have to undergo. If you ask for the prescription notes they will tell you to come next day to collect it. I had to call the support and argue just to get my diagnosis report for what I have paid. The Schirmer test they do to detect Dry eyes supposed to leave it for 5 min to get the result. But Doctors will not let the paper sit in your eyes for complete 1 min also. So that they can get the wrong results and trick you to buy medicine. For everyone who goes there are blindly pushed to purchase eye dryness drops and other ridiculous things for 3 Months. I just visited another doctor near my house where I underwent same testing process and My report came absolutely fine.
Edit : when I called the support to express my grief, you guys literally disconnected my call. I have to call second time and that time also you’re not ready to listen to me. Simply connected my call to the hospital and made me deal with them. You have never showed your support and stop pretending showering this empathy in front of everyone. After visiting a doctor, every patient in general, they will be receiving a prescription of the diagnosis report and few details of the problem for what they have visited. To our surprise here, we are not allowed to ask that you have to go to medical shop to get the medicine report. You have to go to the specs place to get the eye power report. And the person who sells specs over there, simply demands you to come next day to collect your prescription as I denied to buy the specs.

I was unhappy with the way the person checking my eyes for power handled it. I had to go back twice to get it done. She didn't seem interested and was doing it poorly.

Booked an appointment on Saturday for Sunday. 2 messages were received confirmation. Sunday also I got message reminding the appointment. When I called they told me that hospital closed on Sunday. What a fun,,,,, hospital closed but appointment given.
