I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Rinku Das at My Vision Eye Clinic, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the initial consultation to the post-surgery follow-ups, everything was seamless. Dr. Das is truly the best cataract surgeon I’ve ever come across – her professionalism, skill, and compassionate care are unmatched. The surgery was quick, pain-free, and the results are incredible – my vision feels better than ever! The clinic staff was also very friendly and made me feel comfortable at every step. If you’re looking for world-class eye care, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Rinku Das and her team. Prepare to get a Glaucoma check prescribed by the doctor for 3k. Response to your reply: I respectfully agree to your points Dr. Rinku. I understand the importance of regular checkups. But the exact words you used after just checking my eyes were “I don’t want you to panic”, “There is a situation we need to discuss”, “We need to start treatment immediately”, “Let’s talk after you get the glaucoma test done”. After the test was done, you said the results were normal and I don’t need any treatment. Moreover, your team said the axis on my old specs are now changed and I need a new specs. Thankfully I got a second opinion on that and got to know that the power&axis on my old specs exactly match with what power I have now. I totally agree with you on your prescription for my dry eyes. But other than that, in my opinion, you could have simply advised me to continue wearing my glasses rather than panicking me with something unnecessary. I’m not encouraging others to refrain visiting you. I’m just expressing my concern that my hard earned money has gone for something unnecessary. Thanks.

Good location, quick booking of time slot, punctual, decent and helpful staff, thorough systems in place for investigation of eye problems, and finally a very fair, courteous and understanding Dr Rinku, all make it a nice place for eye care. Charges are reasonable. Recommended.

They make you wait for so long even after booking appointment prior. I had the worst experience, after long working day i came here to be told by the receptionist that I need to make the payment upfront for my follow up appointment. In all my previous appointments, I made the payment after the appointment, and they literally made me wait for ½hr to say this. I told them that I would be paying the money after my consultation, but they just won't listen. They are not even ready to hear or understand the patient's situation, just focused on earning money rather than caring about the patient's well being. Expected little more empathy from a Doctor. Really upset with this entire treatment, even after visiting the doctor multiple times for different ailments, this is how they treat! Utter waste of time, energy and money.

The worst eye specialist I’ve been to. The staff is absolutely incompetent, asked me for my eye power, and could not even note it down correctly after I told her that it was wrong twice. Dr Rinku couldn’t care less. She did not even listen to my eye concern and dismissed it by saying it’s not her speciality but it may be nothing at all to worry about.

Dr. Rinku Das, this message is for you, I am in need of my prescription and contacted your receptionist. They have denied to have my records saved. All the prescriptions are provided in printed forms, so it’s obvious there were soft-copies. If you are not willing to support please don’t, but even after calling out an emergency don’t take over 12 hours to reply saying we don’t have your records, which is a lie for sure.

Dr. Rinku is an extremely unprofessional doc with no ounce of empathy or manners and ZERO VISION for patient well-being. I had taken an appointment for my mother who was to be accompanied by my wife. They don't provide bills for the medicines purchased. Her staff assured me of a bill this time and after this explicit agreement the appointment was fixed. Dilation and checking the vision was sole purpose of our visit. Looking at the incorrect records, her staff held that the dilation was done during the last consultation. Her staff are simply insincere and dishonest despite several pleadings they didn't budge. Ofcourse all of this overwhelmed my mother and she reached out to me for which I sought Dr. Rinku's intervention to settle it. Thinking of a potential staff fraud, I also brought up the topic of non-receipt of bills for purchases of medicines. She curtly replied in order to avoid GST she hands out cash memo bills. She seemed to be ticked off and got very nasty and vindictive towards my wife and mother. She had the temerity to verbally abuse my mother a 73 year patient whilst being dilated leaving her completely vulnerable and shocked. My advice : - Somebody educated up to a Doctor who prefers to dodge taxes definitely has her sense of professionalism totally warped. This could extend to purchasing medicines from spurious companies / distributors to make a quick buck. So patients BEWARE. I will NOT recommend her services to anyone. Terribly uncouth and pathetic to say the least, who has temper issues as pointed by a few other patients who reviewed her services. Her response to such feedback is also classic - Discredit the reviewer. I won't be surprised if she does the same to me.

PATHETIC EXPERIENCE. Please Stay away from this Clinic. Dear Rinku Doctor, I would like to give an advice to you(because you definitely need an advice). "Try to listen to the Patient first before you decide on what is the treatment". You behaved like you are doing a free service even after charging us with consultation fee. Stop being RUDE and try to give kind your kind attention to the patient when the patient explains the medical history. I am NOT SURE about you taking my advice seriously... But I am VERY SURE about one thing.. we are not coming back for further treatment.. and we are not going to recommend your clinic to anyone.

*Unwanted selling of NSAID eye drops for floaters and general eye drops* I visited Dr Rinku Das based on Google rating and yet to be fooled again by this paid rating system. She checked my eyes for floaters, did not see any issues nor the floaters (Mb, I should go to a specialized hospital instead) and prescribed me Nepafenac Ophthalmic Suspension and an Eye drop to keep my eyes wet(totally unrequired given she just said my eyes "look" dry. The meds cost 600+ and gave me a handwritten cash memo (avoiding taxes??). My father's checks for diabetic retinopathy also were to a large extent inconclusive, she directed me to see a Retina specialist and literally asked me to "refer" her name when I visit the other hospital (for referral cuts/commissions??) Steer clear of Google reviews and make an educated check of your health issues before visiting doctors who can influence you for their profits. Updated: Response from Doctor says nothing about the facts, unrequited meds, etc mentioned by me. And I have no interest in discussing with you as your agenda is fixed and nothing going to change. I even don't have interest in returning the meds and taking a refund.

For 5mins delay receptionist made us wait for 30mins and sent patient who has appointment after our slot. Very bad time management by receptionist ,even after seeing we came with toddler and doctor intentionally supported receptionist. Doctor didn't care about people who trusted her and visited the clinic with hope. Totally disappointed and walked away without even meeting doctor for consultation. Waste of time.......

Dr Rinku Das is such a big liar, we went to show our mother eye for uvieties case but she read on Google and said it is not uvea. I can treat it using laser, it is just some dirt fluid. But when we went to shanker netralaya it was case of uvieties. Please don't visit her for complex eye problem

Dr Rinku Das is not even a doctor.. She called me saying she can treat Uveitis but believe me she was not even knowing U of Uveitis.. Just called me just to take 600 rs consultation charge.. At max she can test your eye sight.

There is no point in booking appointment, you wil end up waiting for 1 hour. If you ask about it doctor wil show the frustration on you and doesn’t examine properly . She will not answer your doubts and wil send you quickly.

The doctor was very polite and friendly but the treatment was very bad. I went there because of burning eyes after using the prescribed eye drops, the burning sensation increased. I wouldn't dare to visit this place again.

I don't recommend this clinic at all. Update: I should have listened to the negative reviews of this clinic too.

It is very mismanaged and does not take the patient's time seriously.

Don't ever go there she just doing just hit and try. And finally she said go to Narayana Netralaya. Simple wasting time and money there.

From 1 month I am using the medicine prescribed by her...but in vain..Still I am facing the same issue

On my previous visit I had given 5 stars for this clinic but my recent experience made me to down scale my rating. As you enter and no time to settle down, the receptionist cum med assist (does not deserve any Star) insists for immediate payment of consulting fees (which in a way is fine). That doesn't end there, prior to every procedure advance payment is called for instead of taking patient's concurrence and collect entire payment on completion of procedures. Disgusting I had to swipe my card thrice within a hour or so I was there. Am not sure I will visit the clinic again.
