My Dad recently underwent cataract surgery here for both of his eyes, and I am extremely satisfied with the entire experience.Special thanks to Ms. Sameena for their extended cooperation throughout the process. From the first consultation, she was thorough in explaining the procedure, the risks involved, and the different types of lenses available. She answered all my questions patiently, which made me feel confident to choose this hospital.very friendly and attentive. surgery was quick and painless. The post-operative care was excellent. provided clear instructions for recovery and scheduled follow-up visits.

I visited Dr. Agarwal Hospital (Coles Road) for my mother’s cataract surgery performed by Dr. Archana S. During the process, I had the pleasure of being guided by Mrs. Samina, who was responsible for coordinating the surgery and handling the paperwork for the cashless insurance process. She demonstrated exceptional professionalism and provided continuous support from the pre-tests all the way through to the final discharge. Her expertise made a significant difference, ensuring everything went smoothly. I cannot comment on Dr. Archana’s expertise as this was my first interaction with her, and I didn’t have enough information to assess her skills. Overall, the experience was satisfactory, and the process was fairly quick. I would recommend this hospital for cataract surgery, as the staff and services met my expectations. Red Flag: Parking can be quite challenging nearby, as the hospital has not yet opened its basement parking. There’s also a risk of mistakenly paying a hefty parking fine of ₹1000, which can be quite frustrating.

My friend have done check up here for his retina & cornea problem Dr Archana who is cornea Doctor here explained my friend about his conditions so well and suggested us Retina dr Dr aishwarya she also gave us good suggestion about all the problems we are so happy with the service by team. I went for an eye checkup. While booking the appointment, they informed me that I would be assigned a senior doctor. However, the checkup was conducted by a team of interns. Later, I was called in by the senior doctor, who was supposed to explain the report and address my queries, but even that was poorly handled. 90% of the consultation time with the senior doctor was spent on her sales pitch for SMILE surgery, something I had never inquired about, as I was there for a routine checkup. Many of my questions remained unanswered because she seemed in a hurry to wrap up the appointment, simply telling me that the staff on the ground floor would address my concerns. When I approached the staff, they lacked the necessary knowledge to answer my questions and instead started pushing the SMILE surgery sales pitch again. This place feels more like a business trying to make a quick buck through surgeries rather than genuinely helping patients. Your money, time, and energy will all be wasted here.

Disappointed!! Went for eye pain and continuous headache - they ran a bunch of costly tests and said come back after 6 months — didn’t give a solution to my problem. Charges are too high for no solution — only multiples of 500. I believed the good reviews here but was very much disappointed and simply lost 3500. I wouldn’t try my luck here another time.

The concern for my son where his left eye was little swollen and the above eye lash part was in different style, not in normal shape. And this issue was not fixed or no medicine given. So I had to take my son to another eye clinic.

Again facing issue with this hospital staff and their product... On 18 I went on cataract surgery they gave black glass..which got broken today.. I when asked lady name bindu speaking so rudely harshly.. Saying it will get broke lik that oly can't be replace.. Is the way to speak with patient never seen such a behavior... It's seems they are giving such a low quality products so oly easily it got broken.

I Came For my Eye Check up 4 months back Optometrist Tahir Checked my Eye Power he was wonderful very calmly he Checked my Eye. I was very confident after using the Power what he Checked. Recently when I came there were lack of confidence in Optometrist they were very poor lack of knowledge.....

Edit Dr Agarwal hospital has not provided me with any solution for the loss suffered by me even after sending them an email as stated in their reply. The reply is just a show on social media. They don’t care about their patients. I had visited Dr Agarwal's eye hospital in Cole’s road Bangalore for eye power check up in Aug 2024 as a part of my annual eye check up. They had updated the axis power to 90 compared to 180 in Aug 2023 check up. On the basis of this I had ordered new spectacles at Titan eye plus. However, this power was wrong and I experienced vision distortion. On checking the eye power again at Titan eye plus, I was informed that my Aug 2023 power is right. On account of this, I faced a financial loss of one lens (left eye for which wrong power was prescribed) due to Dr Agarwal's eye hospital. Also this was a harrowing experience as I was trying to get used to the new spectacles when the mistake was at Agarwal's end. I had also written an email to them, for which they did not even care to reply. I had been a long time patient of theirs and visit every year due to the trust. However this experience has been very harassing for me. Update: Hi Agarwal hospital, I have reverted to you over email as you have mentioned. Awaiting your response and how you can compensate for my loss.

Staff I very rude and i had bought eye drop they didn’t give invoice and I was suppose to undergo a scanning which was recommended by the doctor and I was not given prescription print. I called them the staff promised me to send but didn’t and I had called three times and they didn’t send and I needed that for reimbursement and next day when I called the one of the lady from staff said she will send but sent someone else’s bills and when called back and she said she will send right now and i was waiting her she made me wait for 17 mins on the line without even talking to me and attending other patients and that’s really rude which she did on purpose since I was calling again and again to get my reports.

I went for 2nd opinion to this hospital as the eye glasses received were not clear (very small deviation/clarity issue) with the prescription received from Narayana Netralaya hospital first time.The optometrist at Aggarwal hospital highlighted vision issue as 6/18 whereas other hospital gave 6/6 which was normal there.also power prescriptions were not accurate at aggarwal as optometrist was evaluating in a kind of hurry.I met doctor Archana and informed about the glass issue that i was facing but she is not ready to listen iabout that at all.she told there could be an eye issue and might have happened overnight as well and wrote for a scan costing 2600 rupee.even though the probability of eye issue was just 0.5 percent, doctor took a decision of scan for me for which i was not happy as well.choose your hospital carefully as the eye readings will come different from one to another.i regret to go to this coles Road hospital.

I'm not happy with doctor Agarwal hospital Frazer town.as I seemed it is very worthless and pathetic service. actually I came to see here for my second operation to my mother cataract surgery one of my friend recommended this hospital. some staff are behaving very Rude to patients.in pharmacy the lady was laughing with another staff loudly knowing that patients are in precise going to the front desk the lady in the cashier was talking rudely with patients attender it's not fair. All over I think the admin manager is not good please don't visit here for god sake.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH DOCTOR AISHWARYA BALASUBRAMANIAM IYER & BRANCH MANAGER KARTHIK. She has as little as 7 yrs experience as per her profile on Practo and has no patience from the word go. She was the only doctor in the hospital, rest missing. Shows the standards of practice here. We cannot ask questions and she denies treatment without any valid reasons. When I made a scene about it feeling insulted, The manager after talking to her alone and later changes his behaviour also. They don't believe in giving any explanation or no basic courtesy towards patients after taking our money and without Doctors diagnosis or prescription. She appeared like a total quack and not an empathetic doctor which is a basic of what any doctor usually is. This Doctor is very unpleasant and egoistic. We are not allowed to ask her any questions when 2 people before her gave me a different reading of my eye power and she gave me a 3rd different and incomplete diagnosis 'verbally'. When I asked her why I'm told about 3 different eye powers, she says "I'm the doctor and I decide your power". So I went on to understand what she's saying and started taking notes on what she said my condition is, she thought I was recording her and started accusing me saying not to record without her consent. I clarified with her that I was not recording instead talking notes on my phone because she said I had Astigmatism. Then she said, mobile phones are not allowed in the hospital. Which hospital doesn't allow mobile phones in 21st century and it was not informed or written anywhere either. So anyway I moved to taking my book to write notes, she got uncomfortable and said consultation is over. I told her I have alot of questions and wanted to ask. She refused and said I can't ask any questions and walked me out of her cabin half way and said she won't consult. The hospital has taken my money, dilated my eyes and not given me a diagnosis of my reading without any reasons...they noted my reason for coming there incorrectly saying, I came for contact lenses. I had come for my eye checkup And guidance on how to manage my eye sight from not getting worse and also to wear contact lenses while swimming. She left me without answering anything or giving me a prescription of her diagnosis even. I felt so insulted and they wasted my time, money and dilated my eyes where I can't see for 4 hours and left me half way to figure it out. After she walked me out of her room, I took this up strongly in the hospital. The Branch Manager told me he will speak to the doctor and comes back out without any answers and with a hostile approach. Only when i insisted they gave me a bill and the vision reading paper without any diagnosis from the doctor. This is unethical for any medical facility or any doctor to behave so unprofessionally and took 3 hours of my time leaving me with blurr vision not even diagnosed. NASTY Experience. NEVER EVER VISIT THIS PLACE. IM LEFT FEELING INSULTED AND CHEATED.

For over nine years, I have been visiting Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital at the Coles Road branch for periodic eye check-ups for myself and my family. I had a good experience in the past, as they diagnosed issues well and provided suggestions based on my eyesight. However, during my recent visit with my wife for a check-up, the experience was quite different. The eye examination felt more like a routine eye wash. In the examination room, the staff were chatting amongst themselves and did not pay attention to our concerns regarding our vision power. I addressed this issue during our consultation with Dr. Aishwarya Balasubramaniam Iyer. She was humble and listened to our concerns, advising us to undergo the eye check-up again. However, the senior technician who performed the repeat test (the same person who had conducted our earlier check-up) argued that there was no change in our vision power and that everything was normal. I left the hospital feeling unsatisfied and without words to express my disappointment. It seems that Dr. Agarwal's hospital has become more commercial rather than focused on providing quality service. Moving forward, I will not be returning to Dr. Agarwal's and would not recommend it to others..
