I have no faith in him as an oncologist. (I have no medical knowledge, but I am sharing my personal experience.) We have been visiting Debasis Uncle for more than 16 years. He treated us for everything from stomach ache to common cold. But, know about my experience and decide for yourself if you want him to be your oncologist. My 72 years old father visited him at least 3 to 5 times a year, every year, and would get a complete health checkup report done once a year. In the last 2 years, Debasis uncle literally discouraged my father against these tests, citing a huge volume of papers to be reviewed. But my primary grievance is that he never recognized signs of lung cancer in over 2 years of visits, never recommended an X-ray of the lungs even though he knew my father was a high-risk patient for lung cancer, and never recognized the symptoms- fevers, weakness, weightloss, non-stop coughing, all classic lung-cancer symptoms. I would take this feedback back if a single prescription is found where he (pulmonologist+oncologist) recommended an X-ray of the lungs or an HRCT to my father in the multiple visits last year. I lost my father after a severe battle of 7 months only because an advertised oncologist failed to recognize the symptoms in time. Do not lose yours.

Unpunctual. Unpunctuality = Unprofessionalism. Reached Neotia Mediplus at 4:00 PM on 07-10-23, Had waited for almost 2hrs..then left the place around 5:50 PM after getting refund of my deposited visiting charge. He should give values to the time of patients. Unprofessionalism at its best.

Absolutely careless doctor. Does not ask for patient's medical history before prescribing medicine. His treatment of tuberculosis (Themibutol) of my 82 year old father in law has made him blind in his left eye. Treatment of which is costing us another 50k. When tried to call him, he refused to talk and asked us to take an appointment to discuss.
