I recently took my mother to Orbit Eye Hospital for cataract surgery, and I am beyond impressed with the entire experience. The management and staff made us feel welcomed and cared for and the entire visit was incredibly smooth.
Dr. Lakshmi who performed the surgery, was outstanding. she explained the procedure in detail, answered all our questions with patience, and gave us a clear understanding of what to expect.
What really stood out, though, was the excellent staff at Orbit Eye Hospital. Every team member we encountered (Shifa and others) was friendly, attentive, and professional. They made sure my mother was comfortable throughout the entire process. The hospital has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff’s dedication to patient care is evident at every step.
The surgery itself went off without a hitch, and my mother’s recovery was smooth thanks to the thorough post-operative care and instructions provided. Her vision has improved significantly.
I highly recommend Orbit Eye Hospital to anyone in need of eye care, especially for cataract surgery. The combination of excellent management, a skilled doctor, and an outstanding staff makes it an easy choice for anyone looking for top-quality care.

I went through cataract surgery in both my eyes at Orbit eye hospital, both the surgery went off very smoothly and painlessly, Dr Amjad is a very skilled doctor, he’s polite very kind and a gentleman. Orbit hospital maintains very high level of hygiene and discipline, one does not have to wait endlessly. The infrastructure too is of very high standards.

I was recommended by a friend to visit this place for my eye lasik and i was very happy with the service of the staff members , very polite and has a very open and nice ambience.
My lasik was done very smoothly, and aftercare instructions were laid out very nicely and easy to follow ,
I can see clearly without the need to use my glasses , it has been a week and my eyes have healed properly.
All my problems or any anxiety i had were addressed properly and taken care of , would recommend 👍

Such was my excellent experience that my write up with be longer, and informative for a 1st timer.
Every time we select a Doctor, its based on earlier feedback from happy patients, and Dr. Amjad needs no introduction in this regard. After getting several positive reviews, my mom visited him for Cataract surgery. And i realize, there are multiple aspects for which I give this Hospital a 5 for reasons more than a safe and hygiene Surgery.
Firstly, the staff is extremely friendly, they have all the patience to hear you out, make you feel at home, no matter how trivial your doubts. There are multiple check points to ensure an error free data entry. I was overwhelmed the 1st time I entered looking at large no of patients, and was pleasantly shocked to see the process happened so quickly, conveniently and accurately right from my 1st minute till the time we stepped out after surgery follow up appointments. Multiple instructions were explained & written and reminded. Phenomenal planning is all I can say.
MOST IMPORTANT ELEMENT - Miss Zartash showed us a video presentation of Cataract, stopped at each slide patiently educating us abt the medical problem, types of Lens and their respective visual experience. side effects after surgery etc Despite all info on PPT, she took the effort to write as we grasp faster that way, gave the best suggestion which was not necessarily the most expensive. Blatant honesty which matters to most of us! They call it a counselling session and boy they mean it.
This was one experience we knew what happened, what's happening and what's going to happen while we took an 'informed decision' thanks to Zartash's training
Thanks Dr. Amjad and the entire team, hope this review get more people headed to Orbit eye for a Safe and Seamless experience

Visited this hospital for the first time. By recommendation of a friend.
I had a very good experience in the hospital which is in Mumbai. I wanted to perform Lasik to avoid wearing specs.
Dr Amjad Furniturewala cleared my doubts and explained everything so well to me. I was guided my Yasmeen who helped me through the surgery and made me understand all the things I required to know.
Infrastructure was well equipped, hygienic and the most caring staff/support member that I have experienced in a medical facility.
Post-ops, my vision is clear without spectacles and able to see the difference swiftly in couple of days.
I highly recommend Orbit eye hospital for any of your eye problems. Appreciate the service provided by them with honesty and dedication towards the profession.

I was bit skeptical about Lasik and kept delaying it for years ( I had been wearing glasses for 2.5 decades and had complex power in my eyes).
Finally , I did it with Orbit Eye under Dr. Amjad as he was greatly recommended by many. Him and his very professional team did my Lasik and the results are amazing. The whole experience of doing it with him is of highest class, efficiency and professionalism.
I got rid of my glasses very smoothly and very happy with the results. I strongly recommend Orbit to everyone. Science is real, let it work for you 😊

Title: A Disappointing Experience at Orbit Eye Hospital ⭐
Orbit Eye Hospital, a place where vision should be the focus, left me deeply disappointed, and I’m compelled to give it a one-star review.
Completely not wheelchair friendly or heart patients or elderly and pregnant women, as there is no lifts and staircase are so spiral and dangerous and narrow, so careful and do it at ur own risk.
Let’s start with the staff. To put it bluntly, their attitude is far from ideal. Arrogance, ill manners, lack of cooperation, inattentiveness, and a general disregard for the patient’s experience seem to be the norm here. It’s baffling how such an attitude can persist in a place that should prioritize patient care.
There’s one standout character in this dismal narrative, and if memory serves me right, her name is Fiza or something similar. Interacting with her is a painful ordeal. You’d probably choose to face a pit full of dangerous and poisonous creatures over having to deal with Fiza!
While the facilities are impressive, it’s hard not to wonder if they’re funded primarily by the patients themselves due to the exorbitant costs.
But the most concerning aspect is the sheer uncertainty surrounding the treatment. It’s like being in the dark, never knowing what’s happening or when it will happen until it’s already occurred.
In conclusion, Orbit Eye Hospital is nothing short of a letdown. The staff’s attitude and customer service are woefully inadequate, overshadowing any positive aspects. It’s a place where you might get exceptional eye care but at the cost of immense frustration and disappointment. ⭐

Its a complete corporate hospital, more technicians than patients. The entire check up was done by the technician for which 800rs were charged - something opticians have been doing for free since forever. Just because I complained that we want to see the doctor I was taken in for 2 minutes where my husband who was the patient tried to explain his issues but was cut off by the doctor. The experience was very dissatisfying. Would not recommend the money printing press to anyone else.

It worst dont have professional doctors and didnt take care of my brother and are very rude and unhygienic

Very unprofessional set-up. Absolutely illiterate optometrist. Visited then to get my sons eye checkup and she somehow kept on forcing him to read without glasses on prompting she told I’m checking that can he read H or not (my sons is 10 yrs old and in 6 grade). After dilation they didn’t care to do proper check and initially recommended wrong number proposed by machine. On insisting again by wife (as she is an optometrist from AIIMS) they checked the number manually and it ended to be different from earlier suggested number.
Not worth visiting and preferably go to a better doctor who are serious about their patients health.

Such a rude dr and don't have manners to talk to person of his grand father age
Shameless, shameful, don't have tameez to talk
My father was going diagnosed by here some of my family members suggested
From the last 3-4 routine they are repainting the the same thing with no improvement at all
& we have been here more than 10-11 times
Instead it is detoriating when we talk about the same
Dr showed their real side he also told that he has 800cr property worth what is the need to say that to patient of his grand father age 74yr
Dr amjad has no manners to talk at all
Shame on him and his wealth
Wealth don't give you manners
Sitting and taking routine making money hospital
He will soon be punished by his lord and khow his lesson
This shows your upbringing & your attitude
It will not help in hereafter
I don't want to elaborate more we are not like him
I stayed quiet when he talked rudely to my parents
If I had been angry he would have gone home
Shame on you Dr amjad
Actually you don't deserve to say dr
You deserve shameless amjad
Matin Sikilkar

Visited this place as i got referred by someone to take an second opinion
For my daughter whos just one year
Starting with the beggining i felt like i entered a place of Politician or a celeb
Yes bouncers alot and yes waste of assistants
Stage 1 assistant checkup the baby and says there is dilation in her eyes due to eye drops which was done 2 or 3 days back as referred by another ophomologist
Yes we said and that was done
Stage 2 second assitant checks the baby and says she cant see the dilation in the eye and asked to put the same drops again
Here i was asked if i can meet dr amjad
So she said yes he will chexk once we proceed ok i said
Stage 3 dr amjad he checks the baby hardly from far
We gave him the reports which other ophthalmologist ahs given
He direct his assistant to get the retina checked which we were pretty sure that she wont allow but he still insists and late assitant tried to check and as expected my baby dint allow her as she was not comfortable with the torch in the eye
So she said to sit on the eye machine which adults use to check the eye and that too failed lastly when we asked if we can meet dr amjad again to check the baby as he dint check properly
The assitant told that he has already left and referred to an ophthalmology who visits them and too my surprise that was tye same ophthalmology who we had shown the baby firstly
We came for an second opnion but what was the whole point and complete waste of time if we had to show it to the same ophthalmology then should have told us the moment we entered that he doesnt checks the baby
Complete disaster wasted 2 hours and ofcourse one hour in traffic

Doctor took one minute to see my eye and declared that something serious. No further explanation. No diagnosis. The medication given is strongest antibiotic without a reason. The doctor doesn't inspire confidence. My take is avoid at all cost.
Manali Raul
Worst hospital - they ask for money even for cashless. Never seen such a dumb eye care
Shoeb Sumra
I believe all the reviews are just paid reviews. I went here with my mother as she was having issues with her left eye. On examining by a Dr. Before Dr. Amjad, we were told that she has cataract in both her eyes and also the left eye had a molecular hole in the retina. At the final stage, we met “Celebrity Dr. Amjad Furniturewala” who will only speak with you for 1 min or 2 and is less keen to answer your doubts rather than tell you to speak to his hospital assistants who will guide you. Dr. Amjad was more interested in getting the cataract surgery done rather than solving the retina issue. Funniest thing was that he said my mom should undergo botox and he has a friend who does that. The main issue of the retina was completely left out rather than talking about botox lol. It felt like everyone here is interested in selling something or the other. Within a minute or two, the Dr. Amjad was done speaking to us.
Later, the assistant who feels as if she is a doctor will tell to undergo cataract surgery with indian and imported lenses etc. It feels like that she is keen in completing her target to make patients undergo cataract surgery asap.
The following week, we took an appointment with Dr. Vatsal Parekh who guided us with everything and said that cataract is not all a point of concern right now only the molecular hole in the retina was, which by the grace of GOD healed itself. Never did Dr. Vatsal Parekh forced us to undergo cataract surgery for both eyes unlike Dr. Amjad.
If you actually value your time and money DO NOT go to Orbit eye hospital,
rather go to Drushti Eye clinic in town. You will not regret this decision.

Tons of attitude in this Doctor … Pathetic Behaviour …. After Operating patient avoids patient for consultancy n he make sure that u cannot ask any Query or Doubts after Operation… If u Say that u have the right to ask … Shows us he Has a very Big Ego n Behave with Patient as if he doing Charity … Really very Bad Experience …..

The team is ok and fast, the main thing is that the doctor never consulting here only assistant doctor consult the OPD patient for ratina and all, they doesn't have a proper knowledge i went just because of the Doctor, but he is not interested in OPD or taking second opinion I will not suggest this place as dr amjad is not there, poor things ,

I had booked a lasic eye surgery in this hospital and these guys call me on the day of the surgery and tell me that the surgery can’t be done.my days of taking eye drops and me pre planning my leaves is all wasted due to this unprofessional behaviour, and still they are keeping me uncertain on call that we will let you the next day whether it can be done or no anytime soon, as if we people don’t have any other work and are just waiting for them to remove time for us. The doctor again hardly spends two minutes to talk to you and doesn't pay much attention to the queries, the questions are to be cleared with the helping staff which again are answered in hurry. Very much disappointed with his unprofessional behaviour!
Imran Khan
Meeting and talking with doctor is very difficult. You need to clear all your doubts with staff only. Also I experienced that staff threatens to patients that if you don't take their services you may loose eyesight. Sometimes they says lenses (for Cataract) are imported from Germany sometimes says USA, it shows that their words are not trustable. Although rates are very very High as compared to other eye hospitals.
Abhishek Aarote
Never choose this hospital for your cataract surgery.
When my mom had done her operation she had choosen multifocal lenses but they enforced us to do surgery with bifocal lense for one eye and another surgery with multifocal lense. Now I tell you theirs malpractice level,
Multifocal Lense price for one eyes is 95000/- where they use 70k for lense and 25k for their surgery charge.
And in case of bifocal lense they charge 75000/- where they use 35k for lense and 45k for their surgery charge. Now you will get your answer we gave them 15000 extra for bifocal not multifocal. Never do this with anyone.
Rasheed Qureshi
Pathetic hospital.
I wanted to do LASIK for my eyes as I use to wear spects. After few tests, they suggested me ICL. i.e. lens implants. and they convinced me not to go for Indian made lenses as it might create eye pressure in the future. They charged me Rs. 1,60,000. After I got operated I realised my left eye vision is not clear plus I get reflection (doubling image) of everything what I see. I notified them but there was no help by the staff and the Doctor.
Think twice before you go to this hospital.

Too expensive... Please check other alternative

Staff are not hearing the situation of patients. I go for an eye checkup and they did not give me correct number for eye checkup
Atik Agbani
If you want to waste your time and money do visit here, the doctor thinks he is the only one in India for eye care.....
Hussain Siddiqui
Not at all good... They have kept their staff just for show off.. when you meet to doctor, He will not be interested checking your issue.
