Hi stop by the store to repair a shades which had lost grip they examined it took & were very polite I came back after 10 mins it was done, Danny helped me with same & when I asked him about the bill he said it was free of cost as it was a small thing. He aligned the sunglasses for free & even added a free part! Reinstall the goodness & takes customer service to another level! Delighted!

Hello Anglo American. I have been with you since I was a very young woman, may be since 60 years sgo. Always, absolutely always down three generations of your ophthalmologists and counter staff, I have received better than perfect service and kindness. I am still here. I had a frustrating experience when my sunglasses lens fell out while walking on Commercial Street. Thankfully, I walked into the Anglo American Optical Co. The staff there were incredibly helpful and efficient. They quickly fixed my glasses, ensuring they were as good as new. Their attention to detail and professionalism was truly impressive. There was a small, but irritating problem with my wife's RB sunglasses, for which we went to Anglo American the first time - The resultant solution was also small, but we were happy with the treatment and the importance they gave to the situation, even though trivial. From that moment, we continue to travel 20+ km in Blr to this place - for their truthful service, attention to perfection (and correction if required) thanks to their "artist" senior optician Naresh (perfectionist), and all the staff for their polite and helpful services all the time.

I've been going to Anglo American Opticals for years and I know why. Their service is great and prompt. They have a wide selection of frames and sunglasses.

Prices are about 20 to 25% higher than elsewhere, but worth the money. I provided them my frame, and they provided the lenses (basic, plastic lenses, bifocals, not antiglare) and did lens fitting and vision testing. Their optometrist is very good. Don't come here if you are looking for affordability. Also, no online store (still in 1948?). You have to come down and physically try the frames (for other online retailers, you can try on virtual frames using their app). Hopefully, they'll have an online store in the future. They accept Paytm (hurray!). Info for novices: The cheapest lenses are single vision, bifocals are about 50% costlier, and progressive lenses even more.

I had a favourite frame from Lenskart that needed repair, so I took it to them first. While they fixed it for free, the work was subpar, and they claimed they couldn’t tighten the frame anymore. Frustrated, I went to Anglo American, and the experience was completely different. Not only did they repair it properly, but they also tightened it—something Lenskart said wasn’t possible. The quality of work was excellent. While Lenskart’s free service might seem appealing, it’s not worth the compromise. If you truly care about your spectacles and don’t mind paying for quality service, I highly recommend Anglo American.

Today is november14,2023. My experience with Anglo American Optical has been very unsavoury and bad. On Sunday I had booked an appointment for Tuesday as I was told that the ophthalmologist be unavailable on Monday. The same was confirmed on Tuesday. The appointment was at 5:40 pm for which I had reconfirmed. I stay at Whitefield and it is almost 30km from this Commercial Street branch. After taking 1/2 day of when I had come after getting through the Bangalore traffic mess , I was in for a shock. I was told By the lady who takes the appointments that I had not booked one. Having shown the proof as I waited got the doctor to arrive, I was informed that the doctor would not be coming that evening. I found it very rude, impersonal, unfriendly and unprofessional on part of the staff and the doctor to cancel my appointment without justifiable reason without prior informing me. Even after the fact that I had called in the morning to confirm the same. It’s my request to the reader , consumers to be aware of the lackadaisical attitude of the staff and the doctor. They seem to be really taken the patients for granted. Finally I have a question for the doctor. Error of omission is a greater crime or Error of commision. Your degree is of no use if it can’t help the patient. In my opinion your establishment may be rated 5/5 .however you and your staff ; would deserve a negative rating. Have a nice evening .

They have an okay selection of frames. But please DO NOT GET YOUR EYES TESTED THERE. They r not qualified and always give a higher power than is actually required. This has happened on more than one occasions and we have stopped going there. Go to NETHRADAN in Indiranagar. They do a fabulous job and there is 3 point check for your eyes before they confirm your sight power.

The staff in the shop are excellent, but the lab made a mistake and I am stuck with varifocal glasses that I cannot use for reading, .Brian Wapshare How can I sue this firm as they cannot be bothered to take responsibility and answer my e-mails. Brian Wapshare

Very bad experience and very very expensive compare to Titan and lenkart .I really don't know how they got 4 star and who gave them .

Collection are good and staff are friendly but they won't deliver in deadline what they have given..
